Why does it matter whether or not its on PS4? Just curious.

 

A prequel? Cool. But I would've loved it if Rocksteady was making the new game. Also I think a Batman Arkham Beyond game would've been awesome! Also it's great that the new game will still be on PS3 and not PS4.

 

I'm excited but at the sametime was really looking forward to how they follow up the ending to arkham city.

 

I thought that was a pretty good game too.

 

Too early to call it (no Paul Dini, Rocksteady, 8 "assassin" villains sounds pretty lame) but all I can say is...

Love how Batman's suit looks more advanced even though it's supposed to be years prior to the Arkham games...

 

So many awesome bad guys, I am sooooo excited for this,

But again it's focusing on 8 major assassins as the bad guys.....Penguin may be a side mission or something. I know many people are dissapointed a little, for me I really wanted to see the entire Scarecrow plot and Azreal's prediction take flight, but oh well. I think Montreal can do this and they are leaning towards Rocksteady for help and approval, so in a way Rocksteady is still a part of this game.

Also, it's on the PS3!! No need to waste over 500 dollars in order to play THIS game, YAHHOOO!!!


So I have a quation, who do you think are going to be the 7 other assassins, besides Deathstroke. Deadshot would probably in it, but I'd want somebody fresh, I'm thinking Red Hood, end of boss battle would be him falling into the chemical waste below (aka Joker).

 

hearing about it now, unless i missed it somewhere, this comes out in 6 months and no rocksteady....

ugh.

hate that in games, like gears of war with the enemies.

yawn on 8 assassins, seems like some repetitive boss battles.

 

I like the sound of this fantasy land where a PS4 will cost less than $500 at launch.

 

Because GTAV is the last game I am buying on this generation as I am buying a PS4 around launch. I see no point in buying a game I cannot play on the new system when I will want to focus on games that are on the new one like Watch_Dogs. I just find it to be a waste of money when I can use that money towards the next gen.

If the game gets great reviews (meaning 9s or higher) and is ported to the PS4, I'll buy it. If not, then no big loss.

Anyway, I also agree about the 8 assassins thing. As cool as it would be to see the likes of Deathstroke, the thing that made the boss battles so great was that Batman could not just fight the likes of Killer Croc, Mr Freeze, and Bane, you had to use tactics to beat them. Deathstroke is someone you can easily fight against in a fist fight. If they aren't going to have the monstrous villains in here, then the boss battles are probably going to just be melee fights rather than puzzles.

 

Wait. So it's going to be a 2-D sidescroller?

waht.

 

Not only will the boss fights be probably lame but a lot of the "assassin" type villains have cool, if not a little generic designs, but they seem to be pretty bland characters in my experience.

 

If the game is BATMAN ORIGINS shouldn't it be about kid Bruce falling in holes, being afraid of bats, tripping at the park and watching movies that are going to scare him with his parents?

Depends on what other "Assassins" are going to be in it, also remember that the Penguin is in this game, who is not an assassin, so we can definitely say that there are going to be side mission villains that are going to give us variety.

I think people are getting blinded by the word "Prequel" and already not giving this game a chance yet.

Also about the suit, I know he said it was just his utility belt, but in AC he did say thathe had a bigger one, but slowed him down, this could also be used in his suit, you know since he's new at it. I mean he may be more cautious, so a bigger armor-like suit to help him feel protected, but then he realizes it's too slow and makes a lighter bat-suit (AA-AC).

 

I still need to finish Arkham City!

 

Update: I didn't realize the sidescroller was for DS/PSV. My bad.

I hope all of Gotham is explorable. I really want to see pre-Arkham City

 

I'm curious about what Amusement Mile was like. I doubt we'll get into Wonder Tower and Wonder City though.

 

Without Rocksteady, I'm more excited about B: AO-Blackgate at this time, but we'll see what E3 brings.

 

I wonder (lol), too. That section was ripped up by an earthquake, and I wonder what it was like Pre-No Man's Land.
