Really would love to avoid console wars, but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, less than a week until the reveal, and a possible leak of the controller came out today. So, who's getting one? What type of exclusives are you hoping for?
That controller looks like it shares a problem with the PS3 one; the handles are too small. Seriously, I have quite big hands and the controller for the PS3 barely fits in my hands :/
Or everything else is scaled up and they just look smaller, could be the angle too. This is very interesting... I'll be getting one on day one most likely. Gonna brave the lines and crowds. Or I might just pre-order it and have it shipped.
I'm definitely going to get the PS4 at least a year after launch. I'm going to wait for prices to drop. I just hope I have time to play it at that point. I'm a Sony fanboy so I pretty much have to buy it.
I want to get a PS4, but I hope I can play my PS3 games on it/transfer my PSN purchases. If not, well...
I'm excited and will probably be getting one unless they seriously fuck up hardcore (like that horrifying "interrupting your game for commercials" rumor).
I was wondering when someone was going to mention this i've not heard a word of what's included in it but no doubt it being able to play Blu Rays will be the order of the day although they should ditch any large or medium size casing that they have planned for it & just go straight to the mega slim mind you they bring out those various sizes of it because it's a cash cow obviously
And the biggest reason for waiting....hardware issues.God bliss rich kids with money to waste so they can find the problems for me.i could see this thing going for 700$(if the PS3 was 600) and that is alot of money to get a flawd system. Did they take another page out of Nintendo's playbook with what looks like a screen on the controller?
By everything I've heard, we should EXPECT no backward compatibility. What with the drastic hardware changes, and Sony having no interest in supporting old games and all. Makes sense, just sucks. Some of us LIKE older games, too...
Yeah I heard that too. Sucks, but it means I'll just hold onto my PS3 (and Xbox 360). Though I wonder what will happen with the Trophy/Achievement systems.
Yeah, no backwards compatibility then I'm out. At least until it drastically drops in price which would probably be in a couple years.
