and days of the Steam Store going slow as hell begin anew. Nothing too interesting for me for day 1, unless there's something I don't see, because of the strain on Steam.

As a word of wisdom from last year, anything that isn't a daily or flash deal, wait until the end of the sale before you buy it (unless you really want it now). Often the regular sales that last the entire event get cheaper near the end, or end up as a daily. Some of these pack deals are great, but all the ones id want I already own half the games inside.
So far I got Legend of Grimrock, something that I was waiting for a sale to pick up. There isn't much that I want to get, maybe Dead Island or Dead Rising: Off the Record if they go for really cheap.
Nothing for me so far. Eyeing Batman AC and MK Arcade Kollection. Was hoping Skyrim, F1 2011, and SF X TK (not even on sale) would be lower, I can wait those out though/
AWESOME.... But nothing that I want to grab just yet... Going to hold off till I see something amazing for sale. Dude, just get the "Bethesda Collection".
Saints Row 3 won the first community vote, makes me wish I had funds in my steam wallet right now. (Not that I didnt already, just more now)
I grabbed Mass Effect. Because I can't get it for PS3, I may as well jump on it for $10. This way, I can also play the story, instead of making the comic choices.
Gonna buy Portal 1,2, Poker Night, Left 4 Dead 2, and maybe Counter Strike: Source. Or I'll blow it all on the Mann Co. Store.
Damn. Day 1 and I've already bought Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai on a daily sale, and Saints Row the Third on a community choice sale! On a side note, I am kinda bummed that they dont have any sort of Achievement gimmick this year. Those were fun.
