If anything, I'm getting tired of first person shooters being set in the present day or near future. I kinda like the trips to the past like in Black Ops.

A game set in the civil war would be cool.

I was thinking about this the other night. Civil War or American Revolution, please.

For those excited about Zombies, I heard that in addition to the standard campaign, this might have a separate Zombies campaign. I do believe they said there'd also be the normal escalation mode, but also a campaign. I hope it's true!

No. This can't be. A zombie campaign?

    Dammit to hell.

I hope it's not. Developing all those in addition to multiplayer means some area's quality is going to be sacrificed, most likely the normal campaign.

I'll let Assassin's Creed handle those. I don't think muskets would work very well for COD. BANG! reload... BANG! reload...

It'd be a nice change from the same guns over and over again.

I'm getting tired of all of them being in in wars that have already happened or shortly in the future. I want more games waaaaay in the future, theres a lack of Sci-Fi shooters going about with a competitive MP experience (Halo and Crysis are all that come to mind)

I HIGHLY doubt this is real, but here's supposedly leaked info on the game. If it turns out to be real, then I think I'm going to retire from the CoD series, because this just makes it a n00b paradise. The only thing I want to be real from the article is the bayonette.

What really makes me not believe that is #11. Needing a perk to be able to shoot while jumping, I really don't see that happening.

Those are silly as hell. If that turns out to be true then my decision to leave the COD franchise will be more than justified.

Guys, when I talked about the Zombie campaign, I do believe that - IIRC - it would be the game's actual campaign instead of a normal one...but there'll still be an escalation mode for Zombies.

Well, I think giving Zombies an actual story automatically makes it interesting...but it needs to be done right if true.

Wait a sec, are you saying this game's campaign is based around fighting zombies?

I was hoping for a standalone game again and not a sequel to black ops. Usually, the Treyarch games experiment with new gameplay features and Infinity Ward throws out what doesn't work when they make Modern Warfare, which are the main COD gamee.

There's been a zombie story all along, to the point I would call Zombies a side-campaign of sorts. It kinda takes place in its' own continuity, since I don't think that the whole world gets blown up in the 60's thanks to rockets from the Moon. But it's been really fun to speculate and what not.

With Richtofen as the one who controls the Zombies, there are a few things left to clarify. Those two explorers in Shangri La went there to find Argatha. Perhaps they could elaborate on how Argatha and that race applies to Zombies? Then there's that Teddy Bear. You see it's shadow in Der Riese. A giant evil one is in Kino de Toten. The Teddy bear takes away the Mystery Box. Samantha warns Richtofen in Moon that there is something much worse than he could imagine in the "spirit dimension", as I phrase it.

I doubt that they will make a full Zombies campaign for Black Ops 2. But there are still things to talk about with the Zombies story, and knowing Zombies, probably quite a few things that even the most expert Zombie sleuths (I'm an amateur) are looking dead in the face and not getting, which will come into play here in Black Ops 2.

It's pretty sad when Nazi Zombies has a better, more engaging story than any CoD campaign.

Also, that multiplayer list makes me cringe just by reading it. I really hope it's all just BS.

Wait, where'd you hear that Richtofen controls the zombies? They were his creation, but last I checked, Samantha Maxis controls them. As for the teddy bear, it is directly related to Sam. That's why you hear that evil sounding little girl laughing when the teddy bear takes the Mystery Box away & sends it somewhere else.
