I need to see if I can get my Psycho back in action as my game rig switched from my laptop to my purpose built corsair case monster. Namely because I'd rather not have to burn through the entire campaign twice AND the Pirates DLC to get the Greed (combos with self-immolation and bloodlust ammo-increasing stacks because it's a jakob fire pistol), the Orphan Maker (second wind making monster), bonus package grenade legendary, volcano sniper legendary, and the legendary psycho mod I got out of a machine during pirates.

Otherwise i probably will roll with Axton as he's the easiest to get up and rolling quickly with skill combos.

I’ve forgotten how a lot of my characters worked, so I just dusted off my Anarchy Gaige build: “face general direction of enemies and hold down fire button.”

lol yeah, just booted up BL2 and was pleased to see my data carried over - got my beloved Krieg and everything...don't recall why he's carrying so many spare guns, though. They all seem elemental so maybe I swapped them out as the situation demanded? Regardless, it looks like I never touched the headhunter DLCs either (I'm guessing my friend and I got fed up at T. K. Baha or something since I spawned in his mini-area). I'll have to wait until the weekend to really have time to sink back into this classic but yeah, can't wait to bathe in the blood of my enemies screaming about my shiny meat bicycle again.

Okay, what the actual fuck. Uranus can NOT be beaten. He's doing way too much goddamn DPS for me to even counter because he is NOT getting corrosive or slag procced. How the actual fuck is this even remotely fair to somebody? I'm losing all my goddamn money from deaths because the ONE ATTACK he does which you can get second winds off of? HE DOESN'T FUCKING DO IT HALF THE TIME WHEN YOU NEED IT. And every fucking time you die, he fucking full heals - not a new thing I know, but in this case I'm making a goddamn exception since it feels like fucking ECLIPSE all over again.

All enthusiasm I had just fucking died because Gearbox decided they couldn't make a decent boss fight and just made a missile spamming bullet sponge that doesn't get procs. Bull. Shit.

I don't want to tier down (doing TVHM obviously) because then the rewards are worthless, but level 50 guns are apparently fucking useless against level 54 bosses like this shitpiece.

Took me a while with my Axton. What I did was launch my turrets at the wall, but close enough they guarded my flank while I hid in the lower level to the left. That fed the loaders to me so I could deal with them one at a time with my corrosive conference call and my slagga. Then once the adds are gone, they focus on the boss.
Took a while, but we got him down.

I didn’t have any trouble with Uranus, but I have an Anarchy Gaige with a corrosive Shredifier and I can drop him in just a couple clips. I’ve farmed him twice now because his legendary drop rate is insanely high. I’ve heard he’s a fucking nightmare for Krieg, though.

ROFL go figure my main is the one class that has the biggest issue soloing that fatass. Guess I'll have to see about raising up my Commando or maybe roll a Gaige since I now remember a similar situation where I couldn't get my doppelganger past that asshole jet Jack forces you to destroy in presequel... and yet my Claptrap managed to kill no problem with a corrosive Maliwan subby and went on to take down the final boss.

Probably Axton, though, since you can get shield bubbles and two turrets ultimately and my main problem is simply staying alive against Uranus because Krieg's skills really dont work for cover based combat.

Ramrodding through the pack on Normal with a now 48th level Gaige just to get the story out of the way. My son started a Level 30 Psycho, of whom I'm basically dragging through the story with me. LOL! Once we're done, I might invite his character into my TVH mode campaign.

Okay, played it all, the side missions included. The end Raid boss is a Cheaty McCheatface in that I can single-handedly pull it down to 1/4 health using Toothpick and the corresponding mod and then it will run away to heal itself back up to 7/8ths health. Rinse and repeat. I finally just had to save and quit out of the fight because it was going nowhere - I wasn't running out of ammo but it wasn't running out of health regens either.

Anyhow, neat little DLC although there's not much to it really. Happy to see Vaughn take a larger role outside of TotB - he's really the DLC's highlight.

I need to run the raid boss with someone. I've got a level 72 Axton with Gemini slag turrets that I believe can be very effective in whittling down the health and keeping it down.

I decided to just abandon trying to use my Krieg and rolled a new level 30 Mechromancer since she's the only class I haven't tried yet. But it really is an enthusiasm killer when you're rocking several legendaries and can lay out MOST of the previous bosses in seconds...and then suddenly because of a lame buff gimmick, even the midgets have STUPID pools of HP that make your gear virtually pointless. At this point I just want my achievements and leave this terrible DLC in the dust.

I mean, since when does a game PUNISH you for having a character at a high level like this? I don't have the time to farm the super powerful legendaries like I used to...especially since TVHM caps at level 50 and apparently that's super low for this DLC at TVHM level.

it took me a long while to get my Axton to the point where he's playable in Ultimate Vault Hunter mode. Without that auto slag on my turrets, it would be impossible. I really don't like the slag mechanic, but I have learned to deal with it.

I haven't played the DLC in TVHM. Might be interesting...although my Gaige is level 49. Why would they put a level 50 cap on TVHM? Surely that can't be right as I gained two levels in normal mode do a superfast play through.

This TRULY is the worst DLC ever. Hey, want to talk to the doctor well FUCK YOU have two New Pandora Commanders and THREE FUCKING MEDICS IN A ROOM YOU CAN'T SNIPE THEM FROM ABOVE BECAUSE APPARENTLY NOBODY FUCKING PLAYTESTED THIS.

Seriously, the Medics are OP AS FUCK. Resistant to literally everything and the AI is broke as fuck too, because I send in Deathtrap and you know who the assholes literally getting clawed to death focus on? ME. Even when I'm behind a wall, you know who they're targeting? ME.

It's goddamn near impossible to do solo! I honestly just want to beat this shit DLC and then never play Borderlands 2 ever again. That's how bad this DLC is to me.

EDIT: Okay, somehow managed to get a legendary pistol from the 'mandatory bad guy backstory quest' and things are...better now.
