Neat, Minecraft is 1.2.3 now. What have I missed since 1.0?

 

^The changes I'm looking forward to most (I haven't updated mine to 1.2.3 yet) are cats, upside down slabs and stairs, and a doubled world height. There are also fireball thingies that, when fired out of dispensers, light fires where they land.

 

there are also lamps. which are like redstone powered glowstone. And after bukkit updates to 1.2, they will be making it the official minecraft server.

 

My favorite part of the update are the iron golems. It's so cool to see one absolutely wreck enemy mobs!

 

Once I start the server, I am planning on using spout with it ,so I can have gunpack and custom music discs. Thoughts?

 

Oh sweet, I had no idea Skeletons could drop enchanted bows! That plus getting a Siamese cat= a pretty good day in Minecraft.

Yeah, one dropped a Power I Bow. It's nice to be able to drop any common mob in 2 shots.

And I have no idea what spout is, but the custom music disc idea sounds very interesting.

 

Spout is a customized client and server plugin to allow users to create neww blocks and items. They say that it is to bridge the gap between single-player mods and multiplayer. Basically you will have to download a single-player mod to use it. It is not necessary to have it to play on the server, but you won't get the full expirience.

 

I think you should also include mods like TooManyItems (if it's survival mode), Zombe's mod pack (if it's survival mode), Flan's Planes and Vehicles mods, and thethirdmike's Dawn of the Modern World mods.

 

Not all of those are multiplayer.
TMI works it is just like giving items with the console.

Zombe I don't think works, but there are other things for flight.

Planes only works on standard servers not bukkit, as far as I know.

Haven't heard about the last one.

 

Bukkit released the beta build of the 1.2.3 server, so the server will be up soon. But there won't be any plugins till they get updated. The server will be up by next friday at the latest.

Each of these are skins are made for my own use at some point.
My favorite skin I did is Andromeda Shun from Saint Seiya anime. (The mostly pink one, and it IS a male.)

The Superlink Galvatron I simply did because I couldn't find an Energon Megatron Skin online, but I hardly ever use that skin.
Simply doing my best to fit in with the crowd.

 

I finally picked up the full version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition for my iPhone 4S. There is nothing more fun then building a little castle and fighting zombies while on the toilet.

Yeah, currently I only play Creative as well, although I'd rather play Survival if I were playing it on a server. Oh, and you don't need to buy multiplayer (unless you don't have a legitimate copy of the game, that is).

 

Man, I love Minecraft! I have a map that I added some stuff to in creative mode. I'm now playing it in survival mode. It is going pretty well so far. I am currently working on building my massive underground warehouse. So I can store tons of everything.

The land I built my massive house mansion on (creative mode) has great stuff I think it has two mineshafts to explore. But I still haven't found a Stronghold. Any suggestions on where to look?

 

If you craft a few Eyes of Ender, they can point you in the direction of a Stronghold (throwing them causes them to start flying in the direction of an End Portal, which are found in Strongholds).
