Back on topic, does anyone know when the Xbox port is going to be released, I heard it was delayed recently   And I can't look on Wikipedia, for obvious reasons

Minecon officials said March 2012, it even said that in the xbox trailer. so yeah even if its delayed expect it around spring/early summer.

 

Is anyone gonna make a multiplayer TFW2005 server?

 

Awesome idea! I would like it even more if was a cracked server.

 

Not a good idea. I heard that you will be blacklisted from regular and paid servers if you connect to a cracked server on Minecraft.

 

A server that people who aren't premium can play on.

 

Really? Cause you can't connect to those servers even if you aren't premium. I guess I'm just asking for a bit much.

 

I dunno, I'm only saying what I heard. Rather not risk anything.

 

A TFW server would be a good idea. Is anyone here able to set one up?

 

I could try to set one up, but it wouldn't be 24/7.

 

So I've had Minecraft for a while now, and this is the first time that I've ever played where I've set up a house with a farm, and I have to say... getting two cows was a real bitch.

First off, there were absolutely no cows to be found near my house, so I had to travel practically 2 Minecraft days, where I came across two. Then, seeing as to how I didn't have any armor (and wasn't in the mood to fight while escorting these things) I had to dig a hole in a mountain twice to wait out the night. Not to mention the dozen or so other animals that decided to follow me (they made for good food), and the fact that one of the cows had wacked out poo brain (resulting in me needing to go back to get it every couple of seconds or so).


Thankfully, though, I managed to get both of them home and into a pen. Glad to have all of that behind me  .

 

I have been working on getting the server started, it is ready. But it will have to wait until bukkit updates to 1.2. I thought you guys would appreciate the increased build height.

 

^Yeah, I'm really glad they increased it. It'll be so nice to build such taller skyscrapers. I just wish I hadn't started building the skyscrapers in the city I'm making on my own before I heard about the height increase. When I heard about it, my first reaction was "Yes! Now I'll be able to make even bigger skyscrapers!". My second was "Crap. If only I had known about the update before I started building my city." I am pretty excited about this update, though, with the height increase, new blocks, upside down stairs and slabs, cats, and such that got added. I'm planning to update my copy as soon as a few mods I want to use get updated, and once I'm done using MCEdit to move some buildings around (I'm thinking it won't work once I update, with the higher worlds).

 

So I managed to catch 3 cats today.



And as soon as I got home, one of them promptly walked into my fireplace.



So I made some "improvements" to it, which I just realized I hadn't taken a screenshot of yet. I'll put that up soon.

 

Did you guys hear that the guys from Bukkit got hired by Mojang? This could mean great things for multiplayer, it also brings the employee count up to 25.
