Have done, no luck. I'm guessing maybe something in the patch has triggered something, a google search has found a few others with similar problems - so I might wait till the next update before trying it again. Changing settings doesn't help, either, and I've set teh Java priority to high. It's unusual.

I'm most excited for the Adventure Update.

Makes "preordering" the game SO much more worth it.

I think Minecraft and Terraria appeal to the 2d and 3d fans of gaming i nthe exact way we want them to- except Minecraft needs moar mobs.

Any of you guys watch Yogscast here? Their shadow of Israphel series is amazing! definitely watch it if you have the game.

I've been playing for about 3 months now, and I really like it. My computer can't run it that well, I get like 22 fps on average, but it's bearable. Adventure mode is going to rock! We also need a TFW server. it would be cool to play MC with TFw peeps.
