I may get the 360 version if I can. I heard the world size is only as big as the map you spawn with. That's pretty small.

 

yea its pretty small but I imagine itll be changed once the updates for new biomes and the like start rolling it

my only issue so far is the crafting system its terrible and id much rather have the old style back other than that and the light from torches not being that great (supposed problem with the version its running) the game runs perfectly

 

Got the game today, it's extremely fun, hope to survive a "week" in the survival mode and play with some members here.

 

I plan on sticking with the PC version. By the way, a long time ago I was searching through one of my worlds and I was really far away from any territory I know well. But anyway, I was trying to get back to my home when a Creeper blows me up. Like lightining, I try to get back to where I died but so no trace of my stuff or I just wasn't in the right place.

I went home and figured all that I lost had since despawned. Months go by and I am just looking around my map (trying to find the skeleton citdal I made) when I find all the stuff I had lost from that time. How is this possible? It has been way over five minutes and everything is still there?

 

I don't think dropped stuff despawns unless you're in (or close to) the same chunk as it.

 

been plating 360MC all day and having a blast, I wish it was up to date with the pc with regenerating health an all that

idk if its just my map seeds or what but my maps seem to lack any real resources, whan I was playing 1.2.5 I had almost no problem finding iron or coal. but knowing that I could smelt wood into charcoal wouldve saved me a few lives

Well guys I have good news and bad news. Good news is the new server will be ready very soon, bad news is I can't put it up until my dad pays the damn firewall subscription.

 

I'm really trying to get myself to like this game, but I just can't for some reason. I didn't buy it, and I really want to, but I just can't. $20 for a game that I couldn't get into even after giving the demo 4 tries (twice on 360 and twice on android). Am I missing something here? I like being able to explore the lands and create things in games, but that wasn't doing it for me here. I have no problems with the plain blocky graphics either. I don't know how long it'll take, but I heard that you'll eventually run out of resources in the game and would then have to start a new game. Thats really not my cup of tea. Is this game just not for me then?

 

I got the 360 version the other day. Its my first time playing Minecraft as my PC is old and won't run it. I am having a blast building things and exploring.

 

the first real glitch for the 360 has been found, since we dont have creative yet its a nice way to just build whatever you want with somewhat unlimited resources

heres a link to the video & Tut, showing how to do it. I can confirm it works with stuff thats not stackable as well. since my world is pretty built up right now ive done diamonds, minecarts, minecrat rails, netherack (nether glitch is a bitch) and some other stuff, but its a nice way to atleast have somewhat of a way to get a good amount of resources if the map youre on is run dry or limited

and ive got my automatic wheat farm all done up and ready to go for when they add pistons, cant wait to get it working

 

So... I even though I have MC on the 360 I made G1 Bumblebee and Optimus on my friends PC.

 

I just got this on the 360. Good game, but I'm not gonna lie, its actually quite distressing at night time. Playing on a MP server is much better than playing solo.

 

Funniest Minecraft video I've ever seen. BTW for those that don't know 'Bertie' and Explosives are never a good combination. That's the last time I leave these guys guarding nuclear missiles.

Yeah they are interesting to say the least, still waiting for my dad to pay the dang bill

 

I like to put this on peaceful while I'm building. Mobs are just flat out annoying whenever I try to build my house.

 

That's why I build on top of mountains whenever I get the chance. Can see them from far off, and it's usually pretty hard for them to get to you that way.

Plus whenever I'm on a server, I tend to just build during the day, and if I'm alone, I'll sleep in a bed 'till morning.
