It's not just a trailer. It's 4 separate trailers and a whole shit ton of leaked info, art, and pics spoiling the WHOLE GAME. Activision really got screwed over for it's E3 announcement.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh Keep milking that cash cow while you can Activision, because eventually even the fratcore this franchise feeds off of are gonna get sick of the same ol' song and dance. Especially since you're planning a subscription service.
I'm really MEH about these games now. Like Left 4 Dead i just refuse to buy the same game over and over again every November. I still think COD 4 Modern Warfare 1 is the best of the lot, and that's what i .... and it still seems alot of people play on Live
The same. I quite enjoyed the single player campaigns, but they're not enough to warrant a purchase, for me. So it looks like I'll rent this one. And from what I understand, most people preferred the multi-player from 1, as you said - so although I'm predicting a lot of sales it's going to have to do something special to warrent any staying power, I think. But then again, I don't touch MP in games, so maybe it's a lot simpler than that.
I liked the campaigns and was left off wanting more after modern warfare 2, so I really really hope this turns out good.
Yeah, Im guessing I wont stay on competitive multiplayer for too long, I only lasted a few months on black ops before I converted to only zombies for that game.
Eh, I honestly don't think it will be as good as 1 or 2. I want it to be, but with the Activision/Infinity Ward spat, I see a slight issue. Though I'm getting it anyway.
Yeah but in addition to the remnants of Infinity Ward, they apparently have like 2 other developers helping them.

Eh..just..I..uh...WHY??!?!? That is such a terrible mentality, it's shit like that that is hurting the industry.
For the record, I never said MW3 was going to suck. I'm being realistic, and observing that the spat between IW and Activision might effect MW3, at least minimally. For all I know, it can get released and get a 9.5 or something. My statements are more of a shot at corporate creed and this crap that tends to ruin the gaming industry.
Every COD has been the same crappy arcade gameplay since MW1... they aren't going to change it. They've already said that it's the same engine. People said what you said before the others came out as well... they still turned out to be crap.
