Birth by Sleep Final Mix is out today. Just like the other Final Mix's, it has some new features. The most notable are the two new Mirage Arena bosses, Armour of the Master (Eraqus' leftover Keyblade armour) and No Heart (almost the same as Xemnas' armour from KH2 in the final fight). And of course, the new Secret Episode. Aqua travels the Realm of Darkness and is attacked by waves of Pureblood Heartless. She meets some new foe with red eyes... Good to hear, i'm hoping to get it next month. I'm nearing the end of 358/2 days, and i'll just censor for the uninitiated. Spoiler I really think they did a good job on this game, the graphic are awesome, the combat flows well and the original bosses are kick-butt. I'm not one to be bothered by reused locations. As for the story, I can see that Xion's entire reason for existing is to give Roxas a reason to leave Org XIII. Still she's a pretty good addition for such a small reason for existing. "Mary Sue" all you will, but they made a pretty neat character out of one that could go very wrong if handled improperly. It's going to make her ensuing death all the more emotional. The Organization personalities (well, "fake personalities") stand out pretty well. Rather than merely being a dorky slacker, Demyx (sp?) is a guy who would just be more productive if Saix sent him on missions he's suited for... As well as being a dorky slacker. (seriously, how does Roxas fall for the "split up" trick twice!?) Xaldin's personality, as stated in one flash cartoon: (Roxas: "Hey, we're studying the beast for completely noble reasons, right?" Xaldin: "Of course, of course... So, he has a weakness to the rose... EXCELENT!!!") Kinda lame... Xigbar is consistently my favorite Org member, his accent, his weapons, his eyepatch, lordy the eyepatch! He continues his reign of awesome by challenging Roxas to a duel, in the middle of Roxas's mission, just to see if Roxas is up to snuff. Magnificent Jerk. Ah, Xemnas, you being of utter nothingness and evil, how you sit on your chair and contemplate. Wouldn't want to get in the way of the flow of cannon now, would we? By far, the most utterly vile and evil of the Org members is Saix, he can manipulate anyone, he manipulates Axle just by bringing up that their Somebodys used to have a friendship! Though he truly wants a heart of his own, he is definitely the most heartless Nobody. If any of the Nobody's are written with emotionless passive evil in mind, it's Saix. Can't wait to fight his boss. Axle is always fun, got it memorized? A real fountain of memes, that one. Eat it before it melts! So, i'll just stock up on fire, cure and Thundergara LV5, and head on towards Roxas' very own first summer vacation. See y'all then.

started playing re:coded yesterday.. its fun.. or was til i got to the side scrolling armor boss thing.. grrr.. yes i'm stuck =P
So, I kicked 358/2 day's final boss to the curb. And that would have been a whole lot more emotional had I not known about the ending. Ah, the dangers of spoilers. Two year old spoilers. My favorite character to play in mission mode is Mickey/Yoda. Equip the Kingdom Key D-Omega, Play Saix's boss mission and have fun with it! It's a blast! Dash-Dash-Twirl! And now i only need to finish one mission completely to unlock Sora... Defeat Six Giant Stinkin' Heartless. Actually seven. Has anyone defeated the bonus boss before? Any tips/tricks/cheap moves I can use? Favorite gear to use? I'm gonna take that stinker down one of these days, maybe i'll grind to level 70 or something...
Well this is a topic I never expected to see on this forum. I love the series! I only own the DS games but I intend to buy 3D when it comes out. Hopefully we'll get some new info on it at the Tokyo Game Show.
I have a 3DS already, but this may be the first KH I play in a long time, so I am finally looking forward to another KH after KH2.
I've Played the first one, and own CoM and KHII, Never played the 358/2, Birth by Sleep, and Coded. I also own manga versions of KH and CoM. The biggest problem with this franchise is the console jumping PS2, GBA, DS, 3DS, and PSP; They need to remake all the games as a finial definitive Remix (like Super Mario All-Stars). I don't like it that I'm missing out of the story because I don't have the console, and I don't feel like buying a new console for 1 KH game, the only console that has 3 KH games is the PS2, and one is a remake of the GBA. I probably wont pick-up another KH game unless it is on a console I own. But I strongly believe they should make a cross platform All-Stars KH Game on PS3, XBOX 360, and HDWii; Then make KH3 on all systems. Is that really the Title? I might buy a 3DS (fingers crossed for a another price drop), I don't have a DS so 358/2 and 2 previous Zelda games spark my interest; so no I'm won't buy a 3DS just for KH with a lame name.
Technically if you buy a 3DS you can play three games, 3D and the two DS ones. I also heard the creators were talking about remaking some KH games in HD but they didn't say much else or which ones they were talking about. That is indeed the title. It's supposed to be something about "how deeply you fall into your dreams" but they probably wanted a name that could be rendered as 3D.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream, Drop, Distance is the title of the 3DS installment in the series. No joke. I actually kinda dig it.
