Was mostly interested in that part about a Darkstalkers remake. Too bad I can only imagine it being released at 2013 at the earliest.
I got Tekken 6 on friday because I had a best buy coupon to make it $10. I got it partly because of research, to see how things are on the Namco front nowadays, figuring the last game in the series I really played was 3 on the original playstation. It's nice to see some of the stuff hasn't changed that much, which is definatley a good thing. Anyone have any idea which company pitched the idea to the other?
i know rite. you should get ggpo and load up vampire saviour/vampire saviour 2, some people are playing it.
Bought day one. Probably will go Tekken X Street Fighter, as since I only really buy fighting games for the fun me and my friends have playing them, and they all prefer Tekken. Spoiler Myself included.
'Aiiie! Capcom-san, your Street Fighter revival is going so well, can we piggyback our sucky fighter onto yours for free monies?' Well thats how I see it...
I like how the second vid not only shows off a Jurassic: The Hunted level but how every Tekken character is basically bodying every SF character.
lol true. i do like how the tekken guys look in the sf4 style, especially king. and i was gonna make a comment about rufus, but then i realised its Bob.
I am worried, honestly. It seems that the big exaggerated bounce of MvC3 has made its way to Street Fighter X Tekken. Hopefully this won't lead to the combo reset stupidity that's ruined that game. However, I have to admit that I am SUPER EXCITE for this game. They need to hurry up and show Marshall Law and Fei Long fight. Also, have you guys noticed that the tag teams consist only of characters from the same game universe? I hope that's a stylistic choice for presentation at this stage and in the actual game you'll be able to mix and match.
it looks like the juggle system from tekken has been jammed in sf4 to me, which is probably worse than marvel XD
I didn't see a bunch of ground hits though. And, the juggles turned me off of Tekken at about 4. But as cheap as it is, in Tekken I never felt like any one hit from any character could lead to 100% health loss.
I'm sure they'll let you mix and match. Atleast in offline and online MP anyway. It'd pretty damned stupid if they didn't. Hell, imagine some teams: Ryu and Jin, Chun and Nina, Akuma and Heihachi. Or wow, just thought of one if they port Oni over from AE: Oni and Devil Kazuya :O
Looks like a better game than MvC3. Less crazy aerial combos and more of that down to earth Tekken style of fighting. Also, it seems to have a better pacing, as well. I want to get a look at Tekken v Street Fighter, too.
