That is pretty cool, nothing like a tiny bit of nerd trivia.

Just picked up SFxT for brand spanking new for XBox 360 for all of £12.99 from my local store. Seemed the right time...considering how broken SFxT is

Can I do cross cancels? Can I fuck. Block, f+hp+hk = nothing.

The dumbest part of the game is that it has a clock, it's too easy to run away and play down the timer.

Maybe I'll play it at E3 this year and that'll get the wheels turning but for now, I'm letting it gather dust.
There's plenty of people to play with. Whether it's online or offline is another matter. I'm sure that if you attend local sessions, you'll have plenty of people to play with. And since you're in L.A, you won't find any shortage of those, with weekly events like Wednsday Night Fights at the Mike Watson-run Super Arcade.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with that comment.
The online community for SFxT is on life support.
There's no arguing that.

By the way, here's what Capcom has been doing with their resources instead of making SFxT what it could have been. Here, everyone, the game is sooooo good buy it again!

The video is kinda cool, though.
It has Animated Optimus Prime and Darkstalkers Are Not Dead.

If Darkstalker wasn't dead before, it will be now after this game's poor sales. Maybe. Frankly, Capcom's comment about how the FG market is saturated scares me regarding Darkstalkers fate.
Also, how did they get away with that Prime?

Yeah. My expectations for a new Darkstalkers is officially zero.
I figure Capcom is going to be sacred away from making the game because of Strekken’s sales.
Or they are going to actually make a new Darkstalkers with the potential of being the best thing ever and then ruin it by withholding content and focusing on ‘Disc Locked Content’ revenue.

In regards to Optimus; I guess if Asus can make Transformers Prime and get away with it Capcom has no fear of an unlicensed cameo.
A very cool unlicensed cameo.

Some fairly big SFxT news for people still playing. Capcom just announced at EVO that the character dlc has been pushed way up to the end of this month.

They talked about the next balance patch.

Auto-block and Auto-tech gems now require more meter. As well, the gems will now take away additional meter if you block or tech.

Players will have the option to disable Quick Combos with the Quick Combo DLC. The team is also looking for a solution to accidental quick combos.

Rolento standing LP blockstun reduced by 2 frames.

Xiaoyu cr.HK phoenix loops only possible 3 times.

Shoto hurricane kicks have had their hitboxes severely reduced. Blockstun on each of the moves has now been reduced by 5 frames.

Apparently the time out issue is one of their main concerns right now.

Damn I think I am going to bite on the DLC characters, at least for Dudley and Elena. It's stupid I know since I hardly play the game but I still want them. Actually I am thinking about getting the Vita so I can play anywhere.. perhaps I can just get that and get all the DLC for free.

Hope you guys enjoy the dlc stuff. I haven't touched this game in months and I'm done with it for good. Really regret buying it to be honest.
