Hey Guys,
I just got a PS3 Slim, but I'm having surround sound issues.
Currently there is an HDMI cable from my PS3 to the Harmon/Kardon AVR 146 and an HDMI from the Harmon/Kardon to my TV. Now sound comes out of the TV fine, but it doesn't come out of the surround sound system. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

On a serious note - have you got an optical / coaxial linked from your audio out on the TV to the audio in on the Harmon/Kardon (I assume this is your surround sound amp)? | |

Otherwise there's no audio entering the amp for it to send out via surround, aye? | |

Phillips Home Theater connected via HDMI to TV.
PS3 connected via HDMI to TV.
My surround comes in thru home theater just fine. However my home theater does have a TV mode that just sends the Audio out from where ever the source is from (Cable, Consoles, etc).
Does your system also have this mode? | |

If you're going to use the optical though, I'd just go from the PS3 to the receiver, not all the way through the TV and back again.
