Help with unzipping files

I went to fanedit.info, where your file came from, and downloaded it myself to see what was in it. I was surprised that the RAR file was only 6 KB, since I was expecting it to be a media file, so I opened it to see what was inside: in addition to the .dlc file, there's a file called "what is a dlc file.nfo" included (don't let it open as System Information, use Notepad instead) that explains everything you need to know about .dlc files.

Long story short, it's a list of links to filehosting sites, like Megaupload and Rapidshare, that you feed into a program called Jdownloader that automatically downloads all the parts of the movie you want, kind of like a torrent that uses these sites as peers rather than other users. Presumably, after all the parts are downloaded you reassemble them using WinRAR or 7Zip.

As for the trustworthiness of Jdownloader, I couldn't tell you. It seems to be the preferred distribution method for fanedit.org, so I imagine that it's not too dangerous.
