What's there to explain really? They should have simply said "Our shit was losing steam, and we were only $50 cheaper than the competition, and we were about to get our asses handed to us by a 1-2 punch of more competitive priced consoles."

Yeah, maybe, but I wish I had waited. I just bought mine. I just think that there are now a large enough library, that shoveling through the crap, you will find some really fun games, which was not my stance a year ago.

The Problem isn't that Wii isn't selling, the problem is the staying power, which like I said, I always compared to a honeymoon stage. However, my Honeymoon just started

Should have dropped to 150 and destroyed the competition in the process

I'm kinda suprised the Arcade version didn't drop to 100 to steamroll Sony

i've had a wii for almost two years now. here are the games worth picking up:

the standards: metroid, mario galaxy, zelda, smash bros - ::yawn::
not so stanard: no more heroes, mad world, conduit, dbz budokai tenkaichi 3, okami, medal of honor heroes 2

there are some great gamecube games worth playing too, like the severely underrated Gun.

games i wish were better: sonic and the secret rings, sonic unleashed

if you wanna throw down on any of the multiplayer games, let me know!
That's what it is.

Wow that's crazy. It still hard to find a Wii in my area. Now it's going to be harder.

it makes sense the way they did it. they made the price cut just before the christmas buying season, which is the most logical time to do so. to announce that they were cutting the price in october back at the start of the summer would be stupid, because it would cut into their sales over the summer. you always spring a price cut fast, you never announce it weeks or months beforehand.

Ugh, I rented both of those and thought they were terrible. Bloody sure, but bloody terrible.

The only games I play on it are Lego Batman and MLB 2K9. My wife plays Lego Indiana Jones and Star Wars. That's it. I got it for the sports games and besides MLB, they were a huge disappointment. Madden was way to easy and NHL 2K9 was total crap.
