Release date confirmed to be: December 17th 2009 in Japan. Final Fantasy XIII Dated For December 17 - final fantasy XIII - Kotaku

Its looking like a May 2010 release for America, July 2010 for Europe but nothing confirmed for these two territories.

As far as Square Enix have said, they actually do, hence how the E3 trailer was in english. Then again, SE work in very mysterious ways and have an awful habit of taking bloody ages to localise their bigger titles.

I have to admit. I wasn't excited about this, but then I started thinking about the good times I have had with "most" of the Final Fantasies, and now I am really looking forward to this.
