Video Games you want made into movies(& who would direct and who would you cast)?????

Let's have some fun,
What Video Games would you want made into films (even though you know Hollywood eventually will and most likely screw them up bad just for a quick buck), who would you have direct it, and who would you cast in the necessary roles? EXPLAIN WHY.
Live Action and Animated are both allowed. Whatever you think works. Even Pixar. Nothing is wrong with having a movie look like one giant cut scene. Metal Gear does it all the time and people love it(minus the insane lengths).
With the remake rage in Hollywood these days, anything is game (yes, even that shitty 90's Super Mario Bros. film), as long as none of it breaks Board Rules.
Any film studio or release method is game. Hollywood, foreign, Bollywood, movies made for TV, direct to DVD, anything.
Also, anything that is a bunch of hour-long episodes (mini-series) like "Band of Brothers" is game as well if the story would never fit into a 2-3 hour movie or even a trilogy of films. The Metal Gear saga is a prime example of where this could be beneficial.

Just make it a CGI film with as much violence, adult humor and language, nudity and sexual content as possible.
That would be a great idea! As long as it keeps an R rating. I mean, have you ever heard of a super successful movie that was NC-17? But anyway, I would think that the Grand Theft Auto series could make a great movie. If done the right way.

YEAH uh....No. Absolutely not. I mean, when I heard the kid from Even Stevens was in the first Transformers back in like 06, I was like, DAMN YOU BAY! But I now see it was an okay choice. But if Michael Bay directed the new Halo Movie, I'd be pretty pissed.

I mainly want to see a Metroid movie directed by maybe Michael Bay, James Cameron, or Sam Raimi. I would hope they cast Jessica Alba as Samus Aran, after seeing her performance as Susan Storm in Fantastic Four. In that movie, she was hot, blonde, and an ass-kicking super heroine. All of that applies to Samus Aran.
On the other hand, Peter Jackson was going to make a Halo movie but supposedly it's either canceled, or just in development hell. Hopefully the latter because I REALLY want to see a Halo movie and Peter Jackson, IMO, is a great director, after seeing King Kong.
