Sigh,...I'll be getting this.

Damn my friends for getting me into this genre of fighting games.

TR, you're going down.

It can be theorized that the constant knife-edge pressure has gradually gotten to Punch, and that part of him has been lost, possibly irredeemably.

I really used to love 2D fighters a couple of years back: Samurai Showdown, KOF, SF:Alpha etc. But haven't really played any of the new stuff like Guilty Gears. But I've been keeping an eye on this, the animation style really sticks out, especially some of the back grounds. Probably rent it first and buy it when the price goes down.

If you buy it now, you get a Blue-Ray tutorial disc which goes over the mechanics and how to really get into the game.

I advise doing this, the price will stay at $60 through the end of the year and only this first run has the bonus material.

(also, 2 discs of game music)

You're aware it's made by the same guys who actually made Guilty Gear, right?

In any case, it plays a lot like Guilty Gear because it's their spiritual successor to Guity Gear. There's some legal issues involving the Guilty Gear franchice so they essentially said 'Hell with it, we're making a new property'.

And for those that havent seen them yet...every Astral Finish in the game. Ya know, I wasnt going to use Bang, but that finish is TO DAMN EPIC for me to pass him up.

Eh, maybe it's just me, or I've been spoiled by a certain other 2D fighter, but it just looks cheap compared to SFIV. Easy pass.

Any "Bridgets" in this game?

That creepy cat girl seems highly suspect.
