knook your sig is ace!!

also Dirge121 microsoft DONT just fix ANY problem your 360 has. for example if your processor breaks due to the shit-tashist motherboard melting then they do NOT fix it unless you pay them 70 to fix it. also if the ram chips break on the motherboards they dont fix that either. They WILL fix the Xclamps problem and the RROD issue if its a SOFTWARE issue and NOT a hardware issue. i know this because i have had these issues several times.

best choice is to send them to custom places off ebay which FIX the Xclamps issue for good - by adding a proper disk drive. They also change the cooling fans so they work much better and they add cooling blocks which work better.

Well yeah, thats why I said red ring specifically. That is easily the most widespread complaint.

MGS4 can stay on PS3. While I think the game is well made and spectacular, it was a massive let down in the gameplay department. I would love to have MGO on Live though, I didn't even touch it on PS3 after the hoops I had to jump to play the beta. It's also one of the few games that I really consider Playstation.

I'll still buy it (if it is MGS4) but only because MGS has some god damn hex on me that makes me buy every game multiple times. Also, achievements.

That's because it has been well documented that Konami based the art on that exact actor: http://static.flickr.com/50/133374501_9f2e9ee958.jpg

Lol whut? Nearly everyone I know with that console has had it go bad on them. Speaking of this, do the newer hardware revisions still prone to this problem?

Maybe the new mgs game might be based on different characters threw mgs1 upto mgs4 and their adventures

This. I've had mine, what, 2 years? And no problems.

While I love my 360, the hardware problems remain. My brother is on his eighth 360, poor guy. One time he got the RROD, he went through the mumbo jumbo and got a new one back. Damn thing RROD'ed in two weeks.

Hope mine doesn't die...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there is no hardware problem, that would be a foolish thing to suggest All I'm saying is that GP's original post of it being 50/50 whether you can turn it on or not is a massive exaggeration to the point of comedy.
