Who got it? What do you think so far?

I'm going to pick it up today (hopefully).

Just checked my online orders, my copy's packing now, so I should get it by the end of the week.

Caught between wanting to know loads about it and not wanting to hear anything so it's all a surprise.

Picked it up at Midnight, played it for an hour (Goodbye to Fable 2 for a while).

I love the nice little twist to the way you name your character, pick his/her sex, look and stats. It's very clever. The world sucks you in. Still suffers from some of Bethesday's quirky animations, like in Oblivion, but, come on, their games are HUGE, so I forgive them not having MGS animations.

This one might be one for the books. I can't wait to leave The Vault.

Sister is getting it for me for Christmas. Since the wife won't let me purchase any more games until after the holiday's.

For some reason, I was expecting it to be hard to find, but they had multiple copies at the first place I went (Target). Finding games on release day isn't nearly as hard as it used to be.

Can't wait to play after work!

Mine would probably have a fit too - thank God she has no idea what games are what, and all I have to do is slip it onto the game shelf without her seeing. Then, I casually say "I'm going to play a game now", and I grab it off the shelf like it was already there.

    :lolol  Awesome!

Especially when I hear it said casually like Homer Simpson in my head.

Fallout and the various reports of glitches in Fable are reasons why I don't have Fable yet.

I plan on getting Fallout on the way home, but I hope I can play it tonight.
I just can't stay up late anymore since I had my accident.
Of course, I haven't really tried either. No valid reason :thumb

LOL! I know the feeling. My cut off day for self purchases is November 1st.

Yeah, games are huge business these days.

I used to be able to do that, too. But the boy is almost eight now and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of our catalog of games minus the discretion to not shout out "When did you get Call of Duty 4?" like he did last year.
I imagine "keep secrets from Mommy" is not something to teach a kid so I just suffer the consequences.

Dude, PM me, WTH happened? I noticed you've been out for a while, but I thought you were busy with Biniss!

Fallout is an example of why this Next Gen of games should exist. You'll be making a great purchase.

I can't wait to dive into it again this evening. I'll have to set a schedule between this and LBP, and then make Fable a weekend thing, if I can ><

    And then Resistance next week.

I want to get Fallout, but I know it would detract from my R2 time when it drops next week. Damn it!

Ugh! Maybe I shouldnt have bought Far Cry 2! *remebers at how he used a wounded enemy as sniper bait* Never mind...

Given at how school and money goes, I might be late for the whole Fallout 3 party.

I got it, but I'm a one-game-at-a-time kinda guy, so I have to beat Fable 2 first. I really don't want to rush it either, so it might be a while.

I don't go solely by reviews, but the game is getting great review scores.

I felt the same way, but ended up pushing through the last third of Fable 2 yesterday anyway so I would have my slate clear for Fallout 3. It didn't bother me too much to do it though since I fully intend to make another run through Fable 2 anyway so I can do more of the evil missions and try out the spellcasting more.

As for Fallout 3, I had originally intended to make a mainly unarmed combat character (Fist of the North Star style), but ended up going with a balanced melee and small arms character (with some sneak for good measure). Only just got through the prologue, can't wait to really dig into the game.

Ah, this or LittleBigPlanet? I can get one game today; decisions.

(It also doesn't help that GoW2 is out so soon...)
