Oh yeah, trust me that nobody has to twist my arm to play through it again. I just don't get many chances to play and that's why I'm not that far. I'll play it all the way through.

Last time I played it was with the GBA remake, and I'm glad they made another one since I love this game! But wouldn't have played it again for quite some time (ie: years) f it weren't for a newer version

So far I haven't advanced in the game, tried the last dungeon for the heck of it despite my low level (no lvl 70 yet), but always end up killed somewhere on first or second floor. And I haven't found any item I was looking for either, they're hard to get!

I'm currently casualy leveling. Anyone know what the Level Lust augment is? Does it give you more xp after battle, for the whole party or only the guy that learns it? I don't want to end up with one guy leveling crazy fast if that's the case :/

it gives the exp to the whole party. i'm pretty sure i found it in the hummingways' cave.

So leveled up all my guys 4-5 levels today and then..................

........still got OWNED by a Red Dragon! Grrrr.

Leveling up in the Underworld before taking on Goblez and losing Cid. Almost to the 40's in level.

I managed to get all my team at the same level, and as close as possible in xp, so they all level up togheter now. I got level 70 with all, and while leveling in Bahamut's cave, I got a Ribbon from monster ( a lonely mage), best helm so far! I stopped leveling and teleported out to save

I also used some augment, and it help a lot too. Rosa with +50% HP mean she resist a lot more and is always there to heal! I still have all the items I got that permanently raise HP or SP, still wondering who will use them

I got this game this past Saturday. I heard how hard this game is, so I leveled Both Cecil and Kain to Lvl 20 before facing the mist dragon. I killed her easily, then Kain leaves, and I have a Lvl 20 Cecil with a Level 7 Rydia. So I lever her up to 20 (Cecil's lvl 25). Then I pick up Tullah (sp). And level him to 15. So, level 26 Cecil, level 21 Rydia, and level 15 Tullah and I'm headed to fight the Octopus.

Lil bump for the sinking thread

Anyone finished the game yet ?

I'm still at the last dungeon, going slowly. I've done like one floor at a time, completed the map and teleported out to save. It was hard at first (around level 73-74), I had to heal after each fight because some battle could turn ugly pretty fast. Now I'm on floor 5, and lvl 78 (all my party is the same lvl), and the normal monsters are getting easy, using auto battle from time to time.

I got the Masamune, completed the Crystal set for Cecil, and got a second Ribbon from monsters just moment ago

I also faced a Red Dragon (from a chest), wich isn't "that" hard, but I still had a hard time fighting it. It was maybe harder because I tried to get everyone alive for the kill (so everyone is at the same % of a level etc). But for sure I don't want them to be regular monster for now, still too hard for that.

I'm not feeling ready for the second part of the dungeon yet, just remembering those big head monster from the SNES makes me shiver! I'll try to complete the 5th floor and any other if there's more (I forget when we switch), and I'll see after that what level I am.

I'm taking this game slow. I just got Paladin Cecil. My Dark Knight Cecil was level 39, and the twins were level 30 when I tackled the mountain. Now I'm leveling up Paladin Cecil. He is now level 25, and I won't stop until he's level 35.

I finally finished it. Level 88 for all characters.

Last fight was easy as fuck. haha
