still playing X-com enemy with in, did a mission to a landed cargo ship, 3 freaking Sectopods! 3! there were also a number of Mechtoids but those are not nearly as worrisome.

Barely got out with 5 out of six of my troops alive and all of them had to spend time in medbay forcing me to send my second stringers to deal with exalt's boys to extract my agent a Canadian sniper. The pulled it off well. thank goodness my back up Mec trooper was ready in time.

I'm replaying Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. I'm only a few hours in but Im having fun. It's honestly been so long since I first played the game that I don't remember anything, so it's kinda like I'm playing it for the first time.

    Arkham Origins.

I think I'm close to finishing it, but it's actually pretty good. I only had two glitches so far (one I can't remember, and a weird one where it huddled Batman in a corner). I really like the voice acting, especially for Batman, he does sound like a younger version to me.

The story is also pretty good, feeling a bit better streamlined than City.

It doesn't have those cool little hidden stories like City, but that's probably because Batman's only been at this a year, hasn't had the time to make those stories, so it makes sense. (Did find a few Easter eggs, though. Like Callender Man's cell and a shipping container with Queen Industrials on it)

I think another thing I really like is the atmosphere. Gotham's a really beautiful city, kind of giving me a Tim Burton Batman vibe.

The boss battles are also really good. They're not all super big baddies like in the other two, the fight with Deathstroke didn't feel like a boss fight, but a duel between two equally matched men.

I really like Origins, I know there were all those issues at release and the developer didn't fix it immediately, but now, a few years later, it's pretty darn great.

Smash Bros. Got an awesome fight where Pikachu knocked poor Samus right into Junior's drills in time to finish her off.

Late last night I was Spectating on SSB4, noticed they repeated some matches a few times. Managed to get quite a profit! :D

Dead or Alive 5; while I prefer Tekken's controls scheme, this is still a solid fighter. Gonna trade it in against its own updated version this year though.

Got Shadow of Morder last week. Killed the Warchiefs(all of them), completed most of the legends, and collected most of the artifacts. Almost done with the campaign.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. I've gotten Frank West (He's covered wars, you know) to level 5 and have crafted many many custom weapons.

Played both DLC campaigns for Shadow of Mordor.

It's more of the same. Not really sure what I was expecting. Even the promised
    Sauron
fight was just more stale Batman combat.

Pokémon Crystal: Started it over because I despised my starter choice and things are going much better with Cyndaquil then with Chikorita. I'm leveling my team for Whitney's gym (omg I hate this gym) found out that my odd egg was an igglybuff and wished I'd declined to take it along with me and snagged a scyther at the bug catching contest

    sums up how that's going...

Smash 4; Aaaahhhh, I love Smash Run and Smash Tour. I'm such casual trash. This is going pretty good on the 3DS. I'm getting lots of great equipment and the right parts for my Max Mii. I should really hop online some night. I just hate online play because when I finally get around to doing it everybody's asleep outside of Japan and Europe. :lol

Arkham Asylum is AWESOME! Time consuming, but Awesome. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance and pick it up, then again I shouldn't be surprised. People have praised it ad nauseum since day one. It only took me...around 6 years to pick it up. But then again I haven't had a PS3 for very long.

Looking for Arkham City now, because when I finish 100% of AA I'm going to want to continue the ruddy story line.

My only complaint is the camera controls, perhaps there's an alternative for controlling the camera, but that Killer Croc fight was a bitch to get past a few spots because of the damn joystick happy camera work required.

And I'm only currently on the Normal difficulty setting, Hard will be a sheer torturous affair.

At least though this game really captures what it means to be the Dark Knight, and I love the effects in the game, the fact that Bat's cape has been torn in a few places for a while now and it just smacks of realism.

Awesome job Square Enix, Eidos, Rocksteady... Awesome, awesome job.

I've heard people complain about the boss fights in this game... Uh, why? They are certainly not anti-climactic, hell the fight with Scarecrow was particularly impressive, and I dug my tussle with Ivy in the gardens. Bane and Killer Croc were mostly non-fights, and hiding in the shadows only to swing down and takedown some punk thug is just icing on a particularly impressive cake. I almost had a heart attack during the third Scarecrow encounter though, thought my system had crapped out on me for a moment there.

Anyway enough praising, time to focus on school for another week.

Oh what the hell, one more thing... Mark Hamil! Pure Genius! I love all of his wisecracks during the stealth missions to his goons and the dialogue in this game is just pure gold. But I'm probably not saying anything most of you don't already know.
