53,594 to be exact.

Good news :
Similar to RE5 this version has a coop feature.

Bad News:
Unfortunately the second player is relegated to the role of Otis and all you get to do is call Frank. Your score is awarded based on how many times you chastise Frank for not paying attention to you merely because zombies are trying to devour his flesh.

If at any point in the conversation Frank disconnects, your OCD requires you to start your tale from the beginning.

(The above statements are probably just my imagination at work. Probably...)

Capcom just shot themselves in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about Japanese culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in Japan, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get ri d of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the japanese public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Dead Rising for either system, nor will they purchase any of Capcom's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Capcom has alienated an entire market with this move.

Capcom, publicly apologize and cancel Dead Rising for Wii or you can kiss your business goodbye.

I will admit it took me a moment to reconize that as a joke.

Sad thing is I've heard people say such things seriously so many times...

Favorite post this year. I'm sure there will be a few people scratching their heads though.
