I wish I could join them too. But as it is, work alone leaves me with barely enough time to eat or sleep, nevermind WoW.

On a whim, and out of shear boredness with current games, I picked up the WoW battle chest a few months ago to see what all the fuss was about. I played my free month and decided it wasnt for me.
Unfortunately I got sucked back into CoH and now spending way too much time there.

It's pretty pathetic. |

I dont find WoW any more different than drugs, honestly, do you? The only solution I see to all this would be forcing Blizzard to implement the time-limit rule to every account to like 4-5 hours a day, it would give people a time off to still go to school, do their jobs and spend time with other people. Once you're willing to sacrifice all that for a game without remorse, thats when there's a problem. |

Reading this thread makes me imagine a room full of people sitting in a circle, and someone stands up and says "My name is John, and I'm a WoWaholic."
Still, can't be as bad as the guy in South Korea who died after basically spending *days* playing an online RPG continuously.
Don't even get me started on 'Second Life' addicts... Quote:

(Lower Alabama) Collection Count: Regaining my dignity News Credits: 1 | know a girl that plays it. she amazes me. she has no job, no real source of income, not even a driver's license (i tried several times to teach her enough to pass the tests and she refused) and yet she pays her monthly fee to play.
how does she pay for it? She uses Linden dollars from Second Life.
the girl is bright, but lazy as hell. she hooked up with some people there, learned how to make things and makes enough there to convert it to real money and pay her WoW bill.
so her computer has 2 things running constantly. WoW and Second Life. i think she's given up on her First Life.
Last time i spoke with her, she had tried to get me into SL so it was easier for her to chat with me (she lives in Australia now) and after 20 minutes, i screamed into the headset and deleted it. i got an email from her saying i was a loser and not to look for her in WoW for help.
