--Super Smash Bros. Melee
---Kojima-san expressed interest in having Solid Snake being part of the roster, didn't happen.
--Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
---Kojima and Miyamoto were having lunch one day and Miyamoto-san suggested that Kojima make a Metal Gear Solid game for the Gamecube thus Twin Snakes.
--Super Smash Bros. Brawl
---The biggest game on the Wii, Brawl welcomed Solid Snake into the fray to both the delight of Kojima and fans alike.
--Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
---Kojima has stated that MGS4 was his last MGS title and that he will no longer work on the series. He looks to make other games. Zelda? |

Let Kojima do what Kojima does and let Zelda be. If fans are still eating that shit up after all this time it doesn't need a new creator coming in and muddying stuff up.

Though if he does, then I hope he does something new with it. I'll probably get lynched for this, but Twilight Princess made me think if it isn't time to move the franchise into a different setting, namely a sci-fi/fantasy/steampunk setting. IF done well and given a proper balance, it could work well, be something fresh and totally new...Similiar to how Majora's Mask and Wind Waker were different from the usual take on the franchise. |
