Why isn't Zygrade a shiny though? It's weird he isn't. I mean I got the Zygrade event today but still.

You have to join the Pokemon Trainer Club on the official Pokemon website. Or if you're already a member and don't get the newsletter, you can choose to start getting it on your Trainer Club settings page.

Dunno if you're looking to get the HA Kanto Birds or not, but either way, the deadline to sign up for this months Newsletter was April 22nd.

Got my Darkrai today. That now makes four level 100 Pokemon I have in a game that I've only beaten one gym in so-far. At this rate I'll have a full box of them before I get halfway through the story, lol.

Actually, Zygarde is one of the four that I have. I got a Mew code when I went in to buy the Mew minifigure, but didn't get my 2DS and copy of X till last month, so I missed out on Celebi.

Oh wow, really? I would absolutely love one. I was thinking about posting and asking if someone could help me get a Celebi, but figured it would be a long shot as I really don't have anything to compensate someone in return.

 

well there are kind-hearted people in this forum. when Celebi was available, i got 8 and a few days ago i was missing 1 and then remembered i traded one for a shiny Duskull (all hail Dusknoir!)

i would have trade one for a Musharna nicknamed The Toker... get it? because of the dream mist and weed smoker clouds? yes i did grow up watch Cheech & Chong movies... a lot.

 

There's only four titles, do you own 8 copies or did you just restart a title a few times and use pokebank to get that many Celebi?

 

i have 2 copies of X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. the first copies i use competitively, the second is for pokemon hoarding and when i want to experience the adventure again and again and again.

i've been doing this since 2010 with Pokémon Platinum.

i got second copies of all the main rpg games from gen 3 to today.

i already have two copies of Pokémon Sun and 2 copies of Pokémon Moon paid off. just waiting for the release day.

i actually did that in gen 5 with Genesect, ive traded 8 and still have 52 more.

There really are. The Pokemon community on here is over-all really friendly. All of the advice I got about getting back into the series after such a long time has really been helpful.

I have to admit, this would have been funnier if I didn't have to look up Musharna to get it, lol

Don't go to Smogon's boards. Very blunt community, they will chew you up and spit you out if you don't know what you're doing.

Haven't played a competitive match in a while. I still feel like I could jump into a game at any time due to how many Pokémon centric YouTubers I follow. If I do pick it back up, it will probably be to train Pokémon that have evolve through trading since I'm not buying two of the same game.
