As Ash continued his journey aiming to become a Pokémon Master, a lump covered in white smoke suddenly dropped out of the sky and landed in front of him and his friends. As white smoke spread around as far as the eye could see, a shape appeared from within it; The mythical Pokémon Volcanion.

Ignoring the worried Ash and his friends, Volcanion, who hates humans, immediately tries to leave the place. However, the impact of the fall caused Ash and Volcanion to be linked together by a strange device, leaving them unable to separate...!

Volcanion runs off and Ash gets dragged along by it, eventually reaching the Azoth Kingdom, a city of super-machinery where gigantic cogwheels are all over the place and rotating. Why did Volcanion fall from the sky? And why did it head to the Azoth Kingdom!? With the mechanical kingdom of machinery as its setting, the hottest legend in Pokémon history begins!


So they're really doing that kind of story now....ok then.

 

So I heard that they are making 3ds consoles and 2ds consoles with Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow preinstalled in the systems. Is that true?

 

Yes in Japan it's clear 2ds that comes in the colors of the games. What color system you get is the game you get.

In America it's a new 3ds that comes with face plates that look like the box art for red and blue. It also comes with a copy of red and blue.

 

I'm going to the mall today. Hopefully they are selling preorders.

 

Could be pretty cool or really awful.

I've never played Red or Blue before, I have a question about it. I heard that trading your Starter Pokémon screws up your game. Is that true?

 

Back in the day, I got a Blue version just so that I could use it to trade the other two starters to my Red version. I never had any problems playing the Blue version without the starter. And I can't say that I've ever heard of it screwing up a game. So I'd have to say that's false.

 

I called a different EB games to ask if they are doing preorders and they told me it may only be exclusive to the USA, Europe and Japan only.

 

Eh... there are ways to mess up your game, but the only way to do these things is intentionally, such as by finding Missingno and catching it- which may not actually corrupt your file, if you're lucky. I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

 

Found out that the release for everything for the rerelease of Red an Blue happen on a Saturday. If there are no preorders, I might line up for it. What are the odds of the lines being busy for a Red and Blue rerelease?

 

Not at all because it's all digital release from my understanding. Nothing physical. Also looked up the bundles and the 2ds is Japan exclusive and the new 3ds is America exclusive. From the looks of European releases it only digital.

 

I hear there may be a Pokémon commercial during the Super Bowl. What do you think it might be?

Why release Pokémon Z now? X and Y are over 2 years old.

 

Z is all but confirmed. Why else would they make a bunch of new Zygarde forms? It won't be Gen 7.

 

Pre-ordered my 20th Anniversary 3DS at GameStop last Friday. Now for the long wait.

 

Maybe it could just be
Update version 2 for all current games allowing all formes and mega evolutions and gives a code which has the player get a Zygarde core in the Pokecenter and can search for Zygarde cells via random encounters.
Pokemon V where instead of Team Flare, teams Aqua and Magma are warring in Kalos while searching for the ultimate Pokemon which turns out to disappoint both by being the fire water Volcanion.

 

I'm glad Z has taken 2 years. Haven't played X and Y for a long time so they'll seem fresher than the last few ".2" games

 

It worked for Emerald, didn't it? That came out after FireRed and LeafGreen, so felt more like a revisit to Hoenn than a rehash.

Still would feel weird as a Super Bowl reveal to me. Usually Super Bowl spots are more for movie trailer word premiers and such. I still think it's going to be a Pokemon GO commercial considering the demographic they seem to be going for based on the initial teaser.
