hey .... if they make it through the poke transporter man ...

i was thinking the writers could troll us in these ways since satoshi wont be getting mega sceptile ...
i predict if they give him a mega it'll be:
heracross still good but not what we want to see.
glalie. just a total huh? here.
but .... to really grind our gears ....
PIDGEOT. he'll catch a NEW one and that'll be his mega pokemon.

this is what i have thought of.

Don't give up hope yet. Masuda still has a TV appearance this weekend. I'm sure we'll hopefully find out about Pokémon Z then.

Also, Serebii reports that the next issue of CoroCoro promises big Pokemon news for 2016.

I might just get Yellow, since it mirrors the first series of the anime which I still fondly remember - although perhaps getting all three for $15 isn't such a bad idea: own a working piece of the franchise's history.

Gonna co-sign this; mind you I would personally lose my shit of they did X/Y and ORAS compatible remakes of R/B/Y, G/S and D/P/P. Any of them, but mainly Platinum, and I'd be happy.

I really hope it's the 3rd game in Kalos.

I can't wait any longer. Though I haven't finished my playthrough of X yet.

So, I finally decided to sit down and finish Alpha Sapphire after tons of procrastinating, as in several months of it. Caught Kyogre (hope I spelled that right), got the Eon Flute and ultimately steamrolled the Elite Four.

I really like the ending of riding home with the person you started with. I never beat Sapphire (I... wasn't good), so I can't say if that happened in the original but it still reminded me and almost made me feel like I'd finally won. The conversation with May about the pond kind of made me feel nostalgic all over again because of it resembling the pond from the cinematics before the main menu. Then there is the meteor shower and fight. The soundtracks are so similar between the original and remake, too. Yeah, nostalgia played a pretty big part.

There seemed to be a bit of a Delta Episode teaser there, just based on the beginning of the Delta Episode mentioning meteor showers. How long is the Delta Episode, exactly? So far, it is pretty entertaining.

I'm sitting here waiting news of a third Kalos game (hopefully without needing the New 3DS) because I really want more Pokémon. Also eyeing Omega Ruby for that reason.

It's pretty short, arguably as long as from the point you enter the Underwater Hideout to the point you exit the Cave of Origin. Granted that's not the point you took a break. I just recommend you stock up on Poké Balls and have a False Swipe user in reserve, you'll need them.

Close to nothing. No seriously.. GB games were KB in size.. It'll be larger for emulator and Trading stuff.. but I'd still say the size will be next to nothing.

Well the old emulator file I had for Pokemon Ruby was 16-24MB. Red and Blue would maybe be half, even a quarter of that.

I'm just glad they are rereleasing it. I've always wanted to play Red and Blue. I've ways wanted the games when I was little, but I never got them because the game kept selling out. Now I've got to plan what Pokémon I'm going to have in each team. I've got some serious thinking to do.

I may have to get yellow even though I still have mine. It was the first Pokemon game I played. God I love yellow so much....getting all three starters and Pikachu, that blew my mind back then. :)

I hope someday we get a yellow remake.

I want to get Blastoise and Scyther for Red, but what's most important is that I get Pokémon that I can use all 5 HMs.

Shiny Diancie event announced for Japan starting December 12. It'll come already holding its Mega Stone so you don't need to trade for it.

Awesome. Another Legendary I never thought I'd ever get Shiny :D .

I have no real nostalgia for Red or Blue, Yellow I do though however but even then i'm not really interested in going back to the old mechanics before the Gen 4 psychical/special split.

I think I remember playing Red or Blue and choosing Squirtle. I noticed that the graphics were sub par compared to Sapphire and didn't really mind. I was just toying with Pokémon. I kind of gave up after a little while and remember getting Fire Red, which I for some reason didn't notice was the same story wise as Red/Blue. I probably wasn't paying attention because I just wanted to get to doing Pokémon stuff, I guess. Or my memory from ten or so years ago is hazy and my Kanto experience was Fire Red. I played Gold or Silver at the time and do remember the ??? thing and Totodile, so maybe I'm confusing it for Red/Blue. Maybe I should go get Red and see if it starts coming back to me?

I remember playing Sapphire and wanting to get into more Pokémon. Since I was in the middle of it when I played the others, I guess they were destined to not imprint as well on my memory. I remember having fun, at least.

Well, Red/Blue/Yellow were the first Pokemon games, so obviously they wouldn't look as good as Sapphire.......
