AR is not nearly as bad as you guys make it out to be. I don't have one myself, but if you know what you are doing the odds of your game being harmed are practically none (rather, should be none).

 

You'd definatly find alot of support, and while Nintendo may not even look at it anything is worth a try at this stage, go for it!

 

Yes, when I used it to get Darkrai, Shaymin amd Arceace(sp?), It made the saving time very long, froze my game, and the 3rd lake was glitched.(All of the water was gone, and the galactic team was back in it. This means I couldn't get to the spot with all the Lickitung, so I had to trade to get a Lickylicky.

 

Actually it's pretty high. I've had action replay ruin Pokemon Colosseum , Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil REmake and finally corrupted all saves on a 251 and 59 memory card on GC. For GBA it RUINED my Metroid: Zero Mission cartridge , also ruining current saves of LeafGreen, Ruby and both Golden Suns.

And all I was doing with those games getting either unlimited Ammo, Magic or Gold. Except Metroid, I was getting the fusion ending gallery.

Regardless, pumped for Platinum. I was about to restart my Pearl because I was so bored awaiting the new Castlevania.

Any ideas for a Main Message for Petition?

(Besides..I want people to also have a chance to obtain Pokemon in the game legally as much as getting the Pokemon Downloaded Directly into the game.)

I agree with you, I don't see the point of putting an in-game event for a pokemon in the game if it isn't going to be used. When I heard about the movie Darkrai one I assumed they'd do another event for the regular one as the movie Darkrai is unique (by knowing Spacial Rend and Roar of Time). Should be quite interesting to see what comes out of the Movie 11 events in Japan in the next few months.
But hey atleast you got a Darkrai AND Manaphy event in the US. We had a Mew one last year but to my knowledge we didnt get Jirachi or Deoxys for the Advanced games.

As for the petition. Just tell Nintendo that theres a demand for the items for in game events, as otherwise the game can't be completed 100% and on top of that not everyone can attend these events. Perhaps suggest they be put on wifi mystery gift?

 

I was expecting some hot furry art. I was disappointed.

 

I was picturing something more along the lines of Misty doing untoward things with Starmie and Staryu, or maybe "Koffing: All Holes Filled" so I'm somewhat relieved.

Thanks for your agreeing view and that's an interesting opening to use for the petition.

I think it could be a win-win, people who want the English versions of Japanese Movie Exclusive Pokemon can have them, those who want to get Game ones legally would have a chance as well to obtain Event Item while those who like both ways would work out just as well.

I just remembered that I'm holding some Pokemon for a guy on here. I've been holding them for almost a year...

 

Exactly. The fact that the event pokemon are often different to their in-game counterparts is incentive enough to attend the events. And as I said before because Nintendo are so selective about where the events are them being the only way to get them isn't fair on the whole playing community.
And besides....whats the point of wifi mystery gift if Nintendo aren't going to make good use of it?
