Citing Smogon tiers doesn't prove that they are broken either. That's an unofficial ranking system that certain competitive players came up with on their own. It has no real barring on the games.

And you're misunderstanding the point I was making, I was addressing a couple of things in that post. That particular point was about players can use the Mega Pokemon card however they want, not every player uses them in the first round as Tigran had suggested. I'm only using myself as an example here, but I'm hardly the only player that holds them in reserve. Pokemon battles is all about strategy, and not everyone uses the same strategy.

Besides, I never see anyone complaining about Megas being overpowered. I always see people saying that they want them back since they got taken out.

nah a lot of people share the opinion that megas and z-moves are overpowered, while dynamax and terastlization are way more balanced and engaging.

Personally I dislike Megas since they tend to be either ugly or unavailable in a casual playthru. Mega-Beedrill is one I'd actually want to use but, what d'ya know, the bug is in XY but not ORAS while the stone is in ORAS but not XY. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never said that there weren't people that shared that opinion. I said that I never see people complaining about Mega evolutions, but rather, that they want them back in the games. However you want to look at it, the Mega evolutions were extremely popular with the fans.

Legends Arceus was actually decently difficult so Megas might not actually hurt the balance too bad. I have an Alpha Goodra that I maxed out and they're not invincible.

I don't like Megas too much, though, so I hope we won't need them without the game becoming a chore. They're overdesigned most of the time, prevent two stage lines from getting a third stage, and the lore about them being painful/harming Pokémon is just a huge turn off.

Was trying g to find that new Paldean Fates Charizard for a good price. The average is $200 CAD. I found a store in locally that has one for $180 but has a nick on the top corner. Don't know if that's really worth it.

I want Lopunny to get a third form that gives it the fighting type like its Mega. Same with Ampharos (and Sceptile) getting either another stage with dragon type or change its third form typing to add Dragon.

i'm assuming you mean a regional variant for Ampharos/Sceptile

since they are 3rd evolutions and therefore cannot evolve

The Pokémon Company has registered a new subsidiary called "Pokémon Works" and is located in the same building as ILCA. Speculation that TPC and ILCA have set up a support studio to help Game Freak develop new games in the future.

That same building has Bamco in it... It's an office building. People really need to stop with the conspiracy theories.

Bamco? As in Namco Bandai? As in another company that helped with a number of Pokemon games like *dramatic pause* New Snap and Pokken? Seems like this theory has a.few missing pages...
