Ok, this completely clouds any rational judgment for me on SV…

Damn man, I’m impressed that protagonist designs get worse in each installment….

Forget The Trees, Everything In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Looks Jank

 

Yeah, that seals it for me. No purchase unless a patch addresses these.

I can tolerate a lot but the existence of TW3, BotW, and XC3 on Switch make this utterly impossible to excuse for me. We're talking about a company in TPC that can do anything it wants in terms of hires, dev cycle, etc. and they're in a publishing partnership with repeatedly demonstrated software engineering wizards who routinely assist other devs.

This should've been delayed IMHO.

My scarlet comes today. Also probably some HasbroPulse stuff too.

 

Gamefreak used to do some magic throughout the gba and ds era. Hell, even the 3ds had them try to do the best they could. It’s apparent that they are not used to the switch hardware.

 

Sadly my target shipment drop off went from today to Wednesday. Thankfully I’ll be busy until then anyways.

 

My game has frozen once over my 3 hours playing, like no escaping total freeze. I haven't had that happen before on the switch. Save often folks and maybe don't turn off autosave.

 

Daughter dearest is having fun with Scarlet. Already she's caught a buncha pokemon, and is happily playing hooky. Haha.

 

They also got rid of one of the most infamous mechanics in these games too Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Don't Include Pokérus - IGN

 

There's a surprising amount of things removed from the game inexplicably. Like pokemon no longer close their eyes if they're asleep?

 

Paradox Pokemon, Can you only find one in each game? Just like Mewtwo, Lugia or any of those Legandaries.

 

Nah, they were clearly referencing this and applied it to all Pokemon. Brilliant!

 

Finally picked up Violet!  

 

Anyone else having issues finding Violet. Four stores Ive gone to all sold out...but they all have a dozen Scarlets. Amazon is it
