Seriously, that was my major gripe with Doom 3.
You mean to tell me there was no duct tape or any form of adhesive in the entire base I could use to stick my torch to my gun.

Hell, I'd hold the damn thing in my mouth if I could.

Yeah, the flashlight thing was annoying, but Doom 3 was still fun and one of the greatest Co-Op experiences I've ever had.

I liked Doom 3, minus the flashlight bullshit like everyone else has already said.

Yeah, hope they fix that. I mean shit, even the guys in the movie had flashlights built into their guns.

Didn't even the marines fucking suits have shoulder mounted lights??

Anyway, they need to up the gunplay. Doom & 2 are in your face action. Not go around the corner and demon trys to scare you. Leave that to RE5.

Never been a fan of DOOM. Just never got into the graphics and stuff but if they can make it look really good then I will give it a shot.

I hope they take the formula back to the fast arcade-like action and mobs of enemies that made the original Doom games fantastic to begin with. Something went horribly wrong with the FPS genre shortly after Quake 2.

I was going to make a joke about being an old man and telling kids about the days when you needed skill to succeed at FPS games, but then I realised that I could probably be doing that now without being too far from the truth for most titles.

I liked Doom 3 even though I never finished it. Can't wait for 4 hoping it'll be a new environment though.

Michael Bay may not have raped my childhood, but I think he may have molested it.

It's just as well, since the analogy wouldn't work anyway. My generation is part of the demographic that's supposed to like the new style FPS games. To me, it seems like developers are so busy cramming in graphics and realism that they forget to put in any fun.
