360 Died

My 360 died tonight. Was playing a game and the video output started to look very degraded. Shut down the 360 and restarted it. Now nothing will display. Tried my VGA cables as well. No luck. Looks like my video output has gone kaput. Now I need to find out if this is covered under the extended warranty. If not, I'm screwed. Can't afford to fix it or replace it.

You're not getting the red ring? If not you might have a problem. Podcats I listen to (Cranky Gamers U.K.) the co-host had his graphic processor blow out and once his warranty had expired they wouldn't fix it free.

No red rings. And yeah, I see that lots of people have had this problem in the past and had to pay to have it fixed. Fuck.

I might just up and get rid of all my 360 shit and be done with it for good.

Thankfully (I guess?) I had the red rings. It's been less than 2 weeks, and MS has sent the new 360 on it's way. UPS says delivery date of the 10th.

Sorry Joe

Another question, when you turn it on dose it power up but not have any video coming out? Like can you still here the start up sounds and the dashboard menus when you move the control around? Or is it totally dead and not even lighting up?

It lights up, no video, no sound. Same thing happens with my component and my VGA cables.

That sucks. Maybe you should leave it on, in a hot room and make it RR. Try your best to Red Ring that sucker.
