Discs of Tron on XBLA 2/13

My preferred game of the two Tron arcade games.

I'll go one further, I was extremely underwhelmed. The analog sticks are poor compensation for the old knob. Fighting the MCP just doesn't feel right with a controller.

Discs of Tron is the greatest arcade machine ever made. I don't see it translating too well to the console market

yeah, the nobs were definitely missed, and the Analog sticks weren't what I expected. The problem is that most games that utilize the right stick as an aiming device, (ala Geomertry Wars and Stardust) have instant swivel. And in Tron the Tanks and characters actually have to go through the old Nob animations to face an enemy and that was annoying.

Honestly the reason I love the original arcade is for the cycles. It's always been the damn light cycles and disks for me.

Actually the DOT worked pretty well on the GBA.

Damnit. Well, an easy pass then. I'll stick to MAME instead.
