EA asks Fox "News" to act like credible journalists

After completely slandering and totally misrepresenting Mass Effect on Fox "News" (sorry, I have to put quotes around "News" because I have never seen such an agenda based "News" network) EA has issued a statement requesting that Fox retract their "story".

I applaud EA, but I think it will take a legal battle that awards a huge punitive payment before Fox "News" starts to act like they are run by journalists.
You know, actually investigating stories and little things like that.

I also thought it was fair play for EA to write the following:

Quote:
Do you watch the Fox Network? Do you watch Family Guy? Have you ever seen The OC? Do you think the sexual situations in Mass Effect are any more graphic than scenes routinely aired on those shows? Do you honestly believe that young people have more exposure to Mass Effect than to those prime time shows?
Don't get me wrong, I love Family Guy. Love it!
I just think it was a good point for EA to make.
They talk about Mass Effect being targeted for kids, but Family Guy is a cartoon.
Which one are kids more likely to notice?

And I can't believe that there are people in my generation who think everyone stopped playing video games when they were 17.

Nope. Just the topic and the part I quoted brought back memories.

EA represents everything that can be evil about corporate America. They need more slandering, IMHO.

I watched it, it looked like the most unproffesional report ever. Clearly none of them had actually ever played the game, except the guy defending it.

I loved the bitching about how it wasn't parents fault that kids got the game. Some people really will do anything to try and make them look like the victim.

I also liked how as soon as the extra woman started having her arguement torn to shreds by the truth, the studio woman tries to change the subject to stop the guy.

Awesome stuff. Another bunch of pricks who jumped on the bandwagon without doing their homework.

That makes no sense, and Bioware sure doesn't represent evil.
(Not that EA does, either)

Also, what the hell is Drippy about? N&P?
