(palm to forehead) | Actually you technically didn't. The Last Starfighter isn't really hailed as the first movie to use CG, rather the first movie to use CG to represent real objects, ala Jurassic Park and Star Wars: Special Editions.
Tron's CG is used to show animated objects inside of a computer (which is why they don't try to pass it off as real).
TLSF's CG is mimicing real space battles with "real" people in the ships 
So you owe me one Smasher for bailing your ass again, like the days of Halo when I shot a guy that was going to shoot you..... edit: I don't know if that really happened, but somewhere in the chaos I'm sure I saved you from Kickback's wrath.

Some jerk picked me up in his space car. I went to this military base on some big asteroid. Some bald jerk on a hologram was taunting me, I stepped on an aliens foot, I teamed up with another alien in this space fighter.
He was a jerk too, he wanted to be the pilot and made me sit in the gunnery chair. We blew some guys up, getting shot at sucks balls btw. Then we blew up some V shaped mother ship. The alien joke of a pilot dropped me off back at home, ya know.. EARTH, but he didn't drop me off at my apartment and instead left me in a trailer park. He went back into space with not even a thank you.
Last time I get suckered into saving the galaxy, ass hats.  | |
