I wouldn't have been able to live without Twilight Princess or Metroid Prime 3. Also the Super Smash Bros series is one my favorites of all time and Smash Bros Brawl will only be on Wii. Heck, I'd buy a Wii just for that game since I did buy a Gamecube originally just for Smash Melee. |

it's a simple process.
you list the games that are out now for each system you're choosing between, and then write down all the games coming out for each system in the next three months or so that you want. cross out any games that will appear on all the consoles, and which ever one has the bigger list afterwards is the one you go with. |

PS3:
Likes - Graphics, media features, blu-ray, nice selection of games and the list keeps growing stronger, easily replaceable HDD, Play Station Network free, upscales DVDs
dislikes- system gets fucking hot, the case gathers dust easily, no rumble controllers (for now), PSN needs more content
Ive got to say, I got a PS3 awhile ago only because I got it on the cheap and I was very impressed with it after hearing fanbots bicker about how much the system "sucks". Sony has some steps to make for sure (I hope they will let 720p games display in 1080i) but so far Ive been very impressed with it. So far Ive had a good time playing the system's games and using its media features. Also, blu-ray kicks ass. Just got Ratatouille on BR and it looks amazing!
Wii:
Likes- fun new experience with the controller, console FPS games with awesome control, game selection finally growing, Virtual Console, web browser,
dislikes- SD graphics, needs a HDD, friend codes, needs voice chat for online, controllers take AA batteries.
So, Nintendo's third party support has been lacking with the Wii so far, but things look like they're picking up since developers and publishers seem to be realizing how much money they're loosing. I really love the Wii controller, and the accuracy with the pointer is fantastic and provides awesome FPS experience(s) (Metroid Prime 3). Nintendo has some great looking 1st party games coming (Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Mario Kart).
So, what you get should come down to your game preference. Also, if you have a nice HDTV, you might want to look hard at the PS3 and see if blu-ray movies interest you at all. Also, if you just have a SDTV, I think that a PS3 (or 360) might not be right for you unless you are also planing a purchase of a HDTV. Otherwise its like you're massively overpaying for a feature (HD) that you're never going to use. That said, I really love both systems, but each has its pros and cons IMO. |

Metroid Prime 3
Mario Galaxy (soon out)
RE4 Wii edition (if you havent played the gc or ps2 version this will blow you away)
Metal Slug Anthology
Zelda Twillight Princess
RE Umbrella Chronicles (soon out)
Battalion Wars ( early 2008)
Fire Emblem (2008)
Mario Kart (2008)
Super Smash Brawl (2008)
Zelda TBA late 2008 last I heard
Nights (2008)
note these dates are Swedish reles ordont have a date, USA gets game earlier.
There are more games announced to the Wii so more good games will come, and for me the gib plus is of course the VC. I love to be able to play NES,SNES,GENESIS,N&¤,TURBOGRAF and NEO GEO.
