online gaming etiquette i dunno bout?

so just recently i have been playing some of my not so new PS2 games over again online, and have noticed somthing odd. i played killzone and admit im not the best but by all means not the worst and am usually in the top 5 or 3 out of a full game, ok no complaints there, switch over to battlefield 2 and i am still learning all the controls again and the diff vehicles and such, and wtf, i keep getting kicked, now im not killing my own teammates, but im not getting alot of kills, so why kick me though? is just like some kind of ooooohhh youre a newb kick, me good you bad type of online lame douchebaggery? or am i doing somthing wrong? cus its getting REALLY annoying, ill just start out a game and maybe die once, then head for a vehicle on respawn and be kicked already???

Are you playing ranked, or unranked games? If BF even has ranked.

Most online gamers are complete douchebags.

-rude/insulting
-boot you for no reason
-no respect for noobs trying to learn the game

Assholes in general. They really ruin the whole experience.

It's the reason why I don't play online anymore, only LAN games if I can scrounge up enough people. Tried playing Halo online and the people are just assholes.

Although I did like the Warcraft 3 way of putting matches together based on the level of the player. It helped weed out some of the assholes.

I got used to the assholes online and just started talking shit too, as for the hosts booting players out, I reported them to Xbox
