So how is it? Any improvements other than a Wii control scheme? Better visuals? Anything?

Yeah, I was referring to RE4:Wii, should have clarified.

I don't think there is any graphical improvements, maybe minor tweaks. Doesn't it have HD or something? I don't really pay attention to those things.

Can't wait for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

It takes a little effort, but if you stick with them they become... functional. RE4 really shined in the control department, and was hands down the biggest improvement in the series.

I've played the GC and PS2 versions, and I have to say this is the best version yet! Can't wait for the Wii blaster to come out!

I picked this up yesterday and have to say I'm not liking the wii controls at all. The 180 turn feels clunky, the targeting reticule is humongous, shooting with the rifle requires analog control, knife control sucks, reloading sucks.

I will stick with my Gamecube version and wait for Umbrella Chronicles.

Or you know.. You could use the classic controller or a gamecube controller.

And exactly how does reloading suck? Hold B and shift the wiimote a bit... Not that hard. The knife control isn't horrid either... But if you absolutly hate it.. you could also use C to pull out your knife.. Then A to swing it.

While I agree that the targeting reticle is big.. the fact that it turns red and rumbles if you have a valid target is also very nice.

Really.. it seems as if your just looking for an escuse to hate it.

I really like the new controls. my brother got it today (I bought the cube version long ago). aiming kicks a ton of ass. love being able to move independently of aiming. 180 degree turn is pretty much the same as its always been too.
Radicons aren't limited to just Transformers. . . .

The rifle is pretty much the same as regular RE4. The reloading is simple, hold B and give the remote a quick shake. As for the 180, hold Z and pull back on the analog stick.
