Of course, this project could all of a sudden get indefinitely suspended for no reason and I wouldn't bat an eyelash.

Edit: Whoa, just saw the trailer, they made what was cannon fodder in the original game look like a major bad-ass... Now THAT is how a Space Marine should be.

sweet....been waiting for this...i thought they gave on on Starcraft (and Warcraft) the way World of Warcraft is going and the stoppage of Starcraft: Ghost.

Guys Guys Guys, Ghost was never a real game. It was a cover for them to be working on THIS! realy come on. as for the announcment here on HJU shame on anyone but me for making this thread when about 3 weeks ago I started a thread SAYING they would announce it today! lol. but yes this announcment has been far too long in coming. we've had to endure World of Crapcraft for far too long. I just hope Nova is indeed a character in Starcraft II. and I really want a scene where Rayner just totally BACKHANDS the Uber-Bitch that is Kerrigan!according to my friend dave, this topic is appearing on EVERY message Board on the Freaking Planet! Awesome! StarCraft is one of my all-time favorite RTS games. I've been hoping for a sequel.

Uh I wouldn't get too excited just yet. The game is no doubt gonna take them 3-4 years to make. Blizzard doesn't exactly have a great track record with keeping on schedual. Heck, they even had to delay the announcement by an hour last night.

 

Starcraft was the first RTS game I ever played.

I'd pick this up quick.
