"Anime News Network reports that Production I.G, the studio that produced all of Ghost in the Shell's adaptations into anime (the two movies and the three Stand Alone Complex works) has received permission to develop a Hollywood adaptation of the Masamume Shirow created cyborg sci-fi. A new contract with rights holder Kodansha allows Production I.G. to represent the creators and negotiate distribution of a live action film."

Plus about 6 other transforming toys. News Credits: 1 | Well, if it's more like SaC, and less like the movies, it could work perfectally. I mean, GitS, and GitS: Innocence, were both great movies, very artistic, but about 80% philosophy, 10% action, and 10% just looking at the pretty pictures. SaC, on the other hand, has always been very action oriented, while not abandoning the philisophical roots. This could work out. Hopefully it does work out, instead of just being lost to the wind like Evangelion. |

Charlize Theron in her Aeon Flux outfit could have been a possibility if they hadn't already done it. And please do not say Devon Aoki!!!
But some live action Tachikomas, I would not complain about seeing. Too bad they'll probably have to be mostly CG. Looking for/forward to: BT Broadblast, Rodimus, clear Mirage; MP Grimlock; ML AXM Beast?
