Final Fantasy 12

Am I the only one playing this? Seems great so far. Just got Balthier and Fran. Penelo is, suprisingly, not annoying.

Not at all interested... and I've played every Final Fantasy (besides 3 and 11). I cant stand the new game/combat system, I liked Final Fantasy because of that vintage turn based style... If I wanted to play an RPG posing as an online game... I'd play an online game. From what I played that's how it felt anyway, it's more like FF11's gameplay than FF10.

Next one I play will be #3 for the DS and the remakes of 5 and 6 for the GBA.

I want to play it, but I am still working on Dragon Quest 8 and FF XI.

The demo wasn't very fun, but now that I've gotten the game itself, it's pretty great. Just put it on wait/gambits off, and you have the old battle system, more or less. I tend to use the gambits for other things. Like healing when my party is low on HP, instead of having to stop and enter the command every time. Even with a fully done gambit set up, you can only use it for minor battles. Bosses will eat your lunch if you try it on them.

Wanted to pick it up, but all GameStop near work had was the Collector's Edition, and I couldn't justify dropping $60 for something I wasn't that interested in.

Got it today at TRU. Got 3 games last week with the buy 2 get one free deal. None of them do I plan to keep. Traded one in today for FFXII, will trade one in in a couple weeks for Gears of War, and then the last one for Zelda.

I was looking forward to this game for so long. But then my PS2 pretty much died. Maybe if I ever get it working again, I'll pick it up.

i wanna get this but i might just end up getting Children of Mana instead (cheaper and i need all the money i have to fix my car - plus the Ski Expo is this Friday)
