FFXII to the DS

not too much news but the rumors was answered

No in-game images unfortunately, but we do get to see younger looking versions of Vaan and Penelo from FF XII.

You may recall lots of discussion when Revenant Wings was trademarked back in August. Amazing to think that it was a DS game based on FF XII all this time, huh?

We don't have any details on Revenant Wings yet, but we'll be sure to update when we get any.

Update: We've got one snippet of info; it appears Revenant Wings' story will center around air pirates.

gotta play XII to see if i'll be getting this

Could be interesting. I'm glad Square/Enix is supporting the DS so much. I just hope they put the same effort in it that they have for FF3.

Me as well, since I never purchased a PS2 or Gamecube, the Square/Enix titles for the GBA and DS have been keeping me busy and happy.

Now if they brought over FFVI and Chronotrigger I would be exstatic.

This is just too funny. Squenix is really trying to bleed their fans for money now aren't they ? First FF13 will require players to buy 4-5 versions of the game for the whole story and now people need to buy the DS FF12 for backstory.

Another source says this game will be similar to FF Tactics

Earlier AllRPG broke the news that Square-Enix was preparing an RTS/RPG hybrid Mana game for the Nintendo DS titled Heroes of Mana.

It was revealed in the latest Famitsu that Square-Enix is also preparing Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings, which will be a tactical role playing game similar to the earlier Final Fantasy Tactics series that we all know and love.

Details are scarce at the moment, and AllRPG will update as soon as we have confirmed some of the rumors!

Oh that is cool. Final Fantasy Tactics is anouther great game I would love on the DS, not that FF tactics advanced is bad, it is just a different game.

Never finished Crono Cross, never got that into it, may start playing it again though.

As far as Square milking the games, is it milking when they are updating or adding stuff on re-releases.

I don't mind milking when it is the equivilent of a good repaint with a few new accessories.
