Text? TEXT?

Forget text packages....new weapons ftw!

Even though I'm still very fond of the Mega-buster and machete.

Am I the only one who is starting to feel like HDTV is becoming a burden. I was at my sister's house the other day watching TV on her 46" HDTV and analog looks like crap. My brother-in-law says "Yeah but look at the discovery channel in HD" I replied "But I don't want to watch the discovery channel right now!" haha.

and reading about this issue it seems like games are going to start forcing you to buy an HDTV just to read text. Hardly seems significant enough to drop a ton of money on, but just annoying enough.

By the way, I understand why analog TV looks like crap on an HD set, still doesn't change the fact that it looks like crap. If they came out with technology that could better render analog on an HDTV then I don't think this phase of eliminating analog sets would be so slow and akward.
I saw a Boxing commercial and it said "It's a fight to the finish" Thats a good place to end.

Wow, there goes my whole reason to buy a 360.

Dont have a HD TV, got no intention of getting one for years. Pointless.

If this is the shape of things to come, then my love of RPGs + HDTV required - cash to buy an HDTV = Sol getting out of gaming.

Though I've also said that about PS3 lately, and I'm reconsidering.

A patch isn't possible? Alright then, Capcom. Sounds like time for refunds or replacements instead.

Well I have a 60 inch HDTV and I can't read shit either. Of course, I don't have a 360, so that could be a factor.

But talk about a pulling a boner. How they hell did this get past play testing?

How hard is it to introduce variable font sizes? It can't be that hard to code. Of course it would then require copying and pasting into every text generation area of the code. Just get the guy whos idea it was to optimize for HD without thinking of regular TVs to do it.

Didn't Microsoft say all games would have to be compatible for both video types?
