Forget text packages....new weapons ftw!
Even though I'm still very fond of the Mega-buster and machete. |

I was at my sister's house the other day watching TV on her 46" HDTV and analog looks like crap. My brother-in-law says "Yeah but look at the discovery channel in HD" I replied "But I don't want to watch the discovery channel right now!" haha.
and reading about this issue it seems like games are going to start forcing you to buy an HDTV just to read text. Hardly seems significant enough to drop a ton of money on, but just annoying enough.
By the way, I understand why analog TV looks like crap on an HD set, still doesn't change the fact that it looks like crap. If they came out with technology that could better render analog on an HDTV then I don't think this phase of eliminating analog sets would be so slow and akward.
I saw a Boxing commercial and it said "It's a fight to the finish" Thats a good place to end.

Dont have a HD TV, got no intention of getting one for years. Pointless. |

Though I've also said that about PS3 lately, and I'm reconsidering. Quote: |

But talk about a pulling a boner. How they hell did this get past play testing? |

Of course it would then require copying and pasting into every text generation area of the code. Just get the guy whos idea it was to optimize for HD without thinking of regular TVs to do it.
