In Panty Explosion you and your friends take the role of Japanese High School girls. At least one of you will have psychic powers. As a group you will create a story about how your Students survived and triumphed against the adversity of otherworldly demons, shadowy agents and the Japanese educational system. Each player chooses other players to be their Students best friend or rival. When your Student rolls dice and succeeds in an action her best friend will describe it, excitedly telling how your Student stood up to the class bully and chased him away or leaped in front of her defenseless friend and protected her from a demons attacks. If your Student fails an action her rival gets to describe it, luridly detailing how your Student embarrassed herself while talking to the most popular boy in class or slipped and snapped her wrist while running from a ghost. With players describing each other’s successes and failures rivalries and alliances are quickly developed and each scene becomes an exciting chance to help out a friend or get back at a rival!
