MASS EFFECTâ„¢: ANDROMEDA Official E3 2015 Announce Trailer - YouTube Mass Effect: Andromeda is the next game in the Mass Effect franchise - one which, as the name suggests, shifts the focus of exploration over to the M31 Galaxy.
Trailer music was kind of odd, and it would have been nice to see a bit more than just a cinematic trailer, but it's a new ME game, so I'm excited Thank God it isn't coming out at the end of this year, or I'd be completely bankrupt for Christmas
So help me God, this had better not be Xbone exclusive. Mind you, the song gave me the notion of perhaps an N7 on an expeditionary mission to a new galaxy which would be sweet as all fuck.
From what I heard here: Introducing Mass Effectâ„¢: Andromeda Guys. Remember that survey leak a little ways back? That might have actually been right after all!
I'd better start saving for a new graphics card then, I don't think my old 6-series HD Radeon will be able to contain it's mightiness.
I of course will play this, but that music was aggressively malicious to it's own trailer. It ruined the entire mood. I actually thought I may have had another window open with some ad playing. The galaxy map music would have been perfect, but I am baffled that they thought country music was setting a good Mass Effect mood.
I like the song, but Mass Effect is not really like a sci-fi western at all. It's more Star Trek than Star Wars. I actually thought for a moment that EA somehow got the rights to Red Dead.
Same. What I want to know is just how we wind up in another Galaxy and far into the future as well. So we know we won't be playing as the guy in the trailer, then who? A native Human of the Andromeda? How could humans be there in te firet place? The Reapers where the only ones to ever travel outside the Galaxy. Man though, I thought I was excited for Halo 5, I literally could not contain my excitement when I saw the trailer in the stream!
Which is ironic since Star Trek was pitched as a wagon train to the stars. I'm not opposed to giving the game a sort of frontiersman feel in a new galaxy and I got a guilty chuckle out of Ghost Riders in the Sky, but I agree there is some significant goodwill to regain after 'The Fuck-Up' and that probably didn't help. It would have worked better if the song had been playing on the character's Omnitool, give us a sort of insight to our new player avatar. Also, throwing open the gates of wild speculation, since it would be redundant for either Hale or Meer to reprise their voice acting roles, who do we think would be a good fit for our new hero/heroine?
