since my other thread was a success, i made this thread for games that were just disappointing.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes' unforgivable short game time just upset me.
fun? yes but just way too short.

Halo Master Chief Collection is just plagued with problems.

my clan was disappointed with Destiny. i myself was expecting more.

Destiny and MCC by far. Nothing else even comes close. They're both tied for me.

    1. Destiny no point to explain why
    2. Watchdogs got it for free with pc graphics card deal and still feel ripped off
    3. Infamous Second Son I love the game still but it was to short. I platinum the game in a week. It's funny because I like mgs ground zeros a lot more (just bought it again on pc) and that game is short too but there is still a lot of replay value and content to complete.

The most hyped TF2 update. In development for one and a half year. We were promised a new map/gamemode and at least three brand new weapons.

All we got was 21 cosmetics and one weapon reskin.

The thing that probably disappointed me the most was Destiny. There was alot of other awful shit this year though.

I only have one, ROTDS, worst game I ever played. And I'm pretty lenient (criticism wise) on games!

Dragon Age: Inquisition, the singleplayer MMO! It has bugs, it has glitches, it has poor optimization, there's no depth to any of its mechanics, literally 80%+ of the game is grinding and fetch quests! What more could you ask for?

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, where they cheat you out of $30+ with their reputation! A game that you can literally beat in 20 minutes on a blind playthrough and a shit story that can be summed up in a single sentence!

...Uh, Master Chief Collection I guess. Was going to get an Xbone for it, but since it's shit there really isn't anything on the console other than Killer Instinct. Saved me some $400 though.

    5. Sunset overdrive
not even a bad game. just so little to do once you beat it.
    4. minecraft XB1 edition
still not unlimited maps? come on.
    3.Titanfall
fun... for a week or two. barely any longevity.
    2. Halo MCC
SO. MANY. BUGS. it has gotten better, but i am beyond disappointed by the state the game launched in
    1. Destiny.
WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!? this was shaping up to be a masterpiece... all it is is 16 hours of a "story" and millions of hours of boring grinding.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze - It was still an excellent game, but it was a bit disappointing.

No idea why Destiny is a disappointment when it seemed to be exactly what was advertised.

Infamous Second Son was fun for a little while, but was ultimately a disappointment as it failed to provide an interesting story that could have made for a really cool mythos for the game series, and instead hardly mentioned the first two games and acted like its own thing. Also, spray painting.

    5.) Rise of the cockspark
It didn't even look good from the trailers so it's not like I had high hopes to begin with
    4.) Master Chief Collection
It was too good to be true. It works better now but God damn.
    3.) Titanfall
Didn't bring anything new to the table, no campaign, fun to play and well balance but where's the rest? No real interesting game mechanics other than gian robits but even they don't feel as unique as I would have liked. Still, being on foot while your Titan is AI controlled and follows you around is pretty cool, like having a two-story body guard.
    2.) The Evil Within
Meh. Not even that scary. Was hoping for something alot different. More frusturating than anything.
1.) Destiny AKA Bullet Sponge simulator 2.0
great music and visual style Bungie is known for, but plays exactly like the opposite kind of games Bungie is known to make. No fucking story, ******ed decisions made in updates, AI is basic as it gets, nothing challenging instead you have bullet sponge bosses. The raids are the only good part of the game because they're fun and interesting and require teamwork. Everything else can fuck the fuck off.

Thanks to you guys (and the general internet), I was able to avoid most of the disappointing shit that came out; still had the displeasure of playing Watchdogs (it was for free, had to give it a try)--it was such a slog to play through, I didn't even bother finishing.

I feel I may be the only person who isn't going to say Destiny. I'd say the game that I was the most disappointed in would be Advanced Warfare. That game just didn't do it for me it. Master Chief Collection is another, so very disappointed in that. I remember before launch thinking, "There's no way they could fuck this up , it's going to be great!"
