I wanted to reminisce and play De Blob. But, when I went to put it in, I realized that the Wii's light is off. I tried pressing buttons, I tried unplugging it, I even replaced the battery. Nothing is working. I have no idea what's wrong with it.

 

How long ago did you purchase this Wii?

 

It's quite old.

Yeah, it may have just broke from use over the years.

 

Burnt out? That can happen? It hasn't been used in long time either.

 

I have no played on my Wii in so long ever since I got the Wii U last year.

I should check and see if it still works.

 

I don't use my Wii much, bit all of my friends who own a Wii have seen their system break.

 

I don't see much point in keeping a Wii if the Wii U is backwards compatible.

 

Do you keep it plugged in all the time? Mine won't start after a power surge, and has to be unplugged for 15 minutes before it'll work again.

 

Mine cant read disks. i can still use it for play the games i downloaed on the virtual console, but i cant play any of my discs there both Wii and Gamecubes

 

Hmm, I'll try that. Wait, it's already been unplugged for almost a day.

 

I just can't put the discs in. Its just dead.

 

i know, was just telling that i too have problems with mine (but diff issues)

 

can omegashark18 still have the wii repaired by nintendo or will have to buy another?
