Does anyone else want action figures of the animatronics? NECA would probably do a good job making them since they aren't from Pacific Rim.

:lol  I probably wouldn't buy them, but it would be kinda cool to see some made.

Regular Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica all have similar kill animations(they get up in your face, shake their heads aroun while their jaws open and close and the screen shakes). Foxy leans into the room and Golden Freddy crashes the game (if you don't immediately pull the console up).

I agree that the subtle storytelling makes the game all the more eerie. The phone guy mentions the "bite of '87", the newspaper clippings give more insight into the fucked-up goings-on at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and the rest is left to the player's imagination (which has resulted in a lot of cool fan-made theories and contributions to the already creepy atmosphere of Five Nights at Freddy's)

I'd love to see action figures of the characters as well, if only for a more complete reference of Foxy.

I can see them doing a limited run where Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica come with their small accessories for the hands and even connectible "stage" bases, while Foxy gets his own little privacy curtain stand.

Golden Freddy, though, not so much beyond a modified recolor of Freddy without eyes, since all he does is sit in a heap in the game.

I know, what I meant was that they all pretty much do those same kill animations without any variation whatsoever, the one exception being Freddy having two kill animations depending on when he gets you (sneak into the room or the Toreador March wind-up). It becomes repetitive because each animatronic just does those same things every time.

Have you read the attempts at translating the 5th night call? It refers to the "Autobiography of a Yogi" and is a garbled, reversed audio clip of somebody saying a broken section involving how "metal is alive". The relevancy to the game is obvious.

G-mod and SFM models exist for that, too.

Interesting Tumblr post that compares the shapes of Bonnie's eyeholes with the ones in the latest preview image, confirming they are the same.

Sweet, I didn't know there was a second animation!

Problem is they'd release them over a VERY long period of time. I mean, they only have 2/3 of the Team Fortress 2 cast made, and only 4 of them in both team colors.

I know it's EXTREMELY unlikely, but Golden Freddy could come with a little diorama of the office.

It doesn't have to be NECA who makes them, they just seem the most likely to. There's also Mcfarlene, and...Jazwares...

    My theory was [probably] right?
    NICE!
You know, I never realized that
    A. Freddy's eye-holes are round and
    B. his snout-freckles were raised details on his model

I know I've seen the "shat enough bricks to rebuild Iran" one, but These are hilarious. God bless the Steam community.

    FTFY

Should I buy this? I've been thinking about it for a while. I'd rather wait for the Spooky sale to buy it.

It's Five bucks on steam, that's less than half the price of a Legends-class figure. I don't think it's gonna be on sale.
I, Personally, haven't bought FNAF because all my extra money has gone to decorating the yard (which, because the wind was a dick this weekend and knocked over my decorations, I'll have to spend more of my hard-earned money on to repair) for a certain holiday that's twelve days away and purchasing costume parts.

Yeah, there's always a chance of it going on sale. Hell, I picked up Just Cause 2 some time ago for like, 2 bucks, and it's maybe $7 normally I think?

Still, I'd recomend waiting to buy the game until they do some kind of promotional, like the holiday promotion where you get the cards for X amount spent. Having a cheapo game like FNAF to cover the distance if you come up short to one more card will be a nice bonus. Admittedly, I actually haven't bought the game because I don't have the time to sink into grinding all three stars and I honestly get more amusement out of reaction videos than the game itself.

Probably will pick up FNAF2 to support the creator, all the same.

Comparing FNAF to Just Cause 2 isn't a good comparison.
Just Cause 2 came out eight years ago and originally retailed for about $50 and has only reached the Sub-$10 mark because it's depreciated in purchase price in those eight years Because Steam won't keep the purchase price of a given game at retail level for more than a year, let alone eight.
Five Nights at Freddy's came out two months ago.
I've been a Steam user since 2008 (My Steam Profile says it was set up back in 2004, but I more or less inherited its ownership from my dad who set it up a decade ago when his buddy Chuck got him Half-Life 2 for Christmas) and I know games don't tend to get big discounts during sales during the year they came out (They'll go for %10-%20 off at best). Again, don't be too surprised if it doesn't go down too much in price during the Halloween sale or the inevitable winter sale.

I, too, will Purchase Five Nights at Freddy's 2, if only to support Scott Cawthon
